As a professional makeup artist, I recently had the pleasure of working on a Jimmy John’s commercial shoot in Los Angeles, California.

Jimmy John’s has launched a new limited-time Greek Gyro menu, featuring a Greek Gyro, Chicken Gyro, and Greek Cucumber Salad, promoted by actor and creator Jimmy Tatro in a digital campaign. The campaign highlights the sandwiches as the “unofficial sandwich of Greek Life,” featuring seasoned lamb/beef or chicken with tzatziki in warm pita.

As a celebrity makeup artist, I recently had the pleasure of collaborating with Plan C Agency and P&G, on home product commercial spots for the celebration of Diwali which is the Hindu festival of lights.

Tiger House Films produced these commercials. The creative production team at Tiger House Films filmed five separate spots for the P&G brands Secret, Always, Tide, Head & Shoulders and Bounty. Each of these separate spots starred a different South Asian influencer that introduced and used the products. These influencers were @seeratsaini @amidesai @notyourammaskitchen@kalissapersaud @geena_singh.

This unique series of spots was shot all in a single 12 hour production day, which took quite a bit of coordination and pre-production planning to put together in a smooth an efficient way. Our goal, along with PCA was to create a series of spots that reflected South Asian culture accurately. With the help of Director Neeraj Jain and Co-director Kate Li Dennis, the details of the script and content matched the needs of the Diwali theme.

These commercial spots were shown on TV as well as in Times Square on Diwali. We created these hair and makeup looks with Penny Kohli. The direction was to create Diwali makeup. Diwali is the perfect occasion to experiment with bold, glowing, and festive-inspired makeup styles. Whether you choose glitter glam, smoky eyes, or a soft, glowing base, the key to a radiant Diwali makeup look lies in balancing your features while enhancing your natural beauty.
