Los Angeles Makeup Artist | Birdies Campaign Video

Los Angeles Makeup Artist | Birdies Campaign Video

As a Los Angeles makeup artist, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Tiger House Films commercial production company team on their Birdies campaign video. I was the lead Los Angeles makeup artist, wardrobe stylist and creative coordinator on this project.

To create our model’s makeup look for this campaign I used Anastasia Beverly Hills products. Our clients were going for light smokey eyes, wavy hair and minimalistic styling. The process of creating Olga’s smoky eye was a simple 5 step process:

1) I prepped for the smokey eyes with a long-wear eye base

2) Applied a medium shadow on the lower lid up into the crease, then layer a darker medium shadow on top to build intensity.

3) Used an eye pencil and a gel liner in black color

4) Curled the lashes and added fake eyelashes for the more intensive look

I love my job as a Los Angeles makeup artist and I love working with a wide range of different looks and styles that my clients request. I get excited about working with luxury brands such as Birdies. I am always curious as to what I can contribute to these projects. Most of all, I delight in seeing my work used by clients in their social media posts, advertising campaigns, and websites.

Birdies are the most versatile slippers in the world. Birdies combines elevated style, luxurious comfort, and everyday versatility.

Beauty Makeup Artist | Birdies Campaign Video Makeup Tips

As a Los Angeles beauty makeup artist, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Tiger House Films production company team on their Birdies slippers campaign video. I was the lead beauty makeup artist, creative coordinator and wardrobe stylist on this project. We were shooting for 2 days in Los Angeles.

I want to share some of the key practices related to being a beauty makeup artist. Some of these practices have really helped me to become excellent at my job.

  1. Wash your face, tone the skin and apply moisturizer
  2. Apply primer, you can also mix it with your foundation
  3. Conceal dark circles and blemishes
  4. Apply foundation evenly matching to your skin tone
  5. Contour and highlight your face
  6. Choose your eyeshadow palette
  7. Line and define the eyes, use liquid or pencil eyeliner
  8. Use a natural lipstick

The third of our three fashion commercial productions with high end San Francisco based company Birdies Slippers, this “every day girl” themed video was shot in Los Angeles with the Tiger House Films commercial production team. Known for being Meghan Markle’s favorite slippers brand, this spot was released 2019.

I had a great time working with Birdies and Tiger House Films commercial production company as a Los Angeles beauty makeup artist and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

As an editorial makeup artist, I’ve had the opportunity to work with FITNESS FASHION MAGAZINE creative team on their first editorial publication. I was the editorial makeup artist and hair stylist on this project.

Our shoot took place in a DTLA studio in Los Angeles, CA. We had a fashion photographer to capture the models and influencers in their best looks. On this particular shoot, we were going for a natural beauty look. I used Antonym Cosmetic‘s newest eyeshadows and lipsticks. We had multiple Instagram influencers on the shoot day to create FITNESS FASHION MAGAZINE editorial content. As an editorial makeup artist, I not only took care of their makeup but also their hair styling.
