Nerf N Series Commercial | Branded Video Makeup Artist in Los Angeles

As a branded video makeup artist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with Nerf on a commercial shoot for 1 day. During this shoot I did hair and makeup for 10 talents. Being a makeup artist in Los Angeles is an exciting and dynamic career that combines creativity, technical skills, and an understanding of brand identity.

As a makeup artist, it’s crucial to align my makeup artistry with the vision of the brand I’m working with. I always need to understand the brand’s identity, whether it’s luxurious, playful, minimalistic, edgy, or bold, and create a makeup look that enhances this message. This means I’m not just creating beautiful makeup but also crafting a look that speaks to the target audience and supports the brand’s narrative. I love working with brands like Nerf because they give me an opportunity for my creative freedom.

Nerf is a toy brand formed by Parker Brothers and currently owned by Hasbro. Most of the toys are a variety of foam-based weaponry, with other Nerf products including balls for sports such as American football, basketball, and baseball. Hasbro, Inc. is an American multinational toy manufacturing and entertainment holding company founded by Henry, Hillel and Herman Hassenfeld and is incorporated and headquartered in Pawtucket, Rhode Island.

Wildlife builds interactive experiences and content campaigns for daring partners. Using their expertise in strategy, design, production and technology.

I had an amazing time collaborating with Nerf and Wildlife as a branded video makeup artist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

TV Commercial Makeup Artist | Atlanta Hair and Makeup Artist

As an Atlanta makeup artist I work on a lot of TV commercial shoots. I split my time between Los Angeles and Atlanta for work. Atlanta has become an extremely popular hub for the entertainment and fashion industries, offering a wealth of opportunities for makeup artists to collaborate with brands on commercial shoots.

For commercial shoots, brands typically seek hair and makeup artists who can create versatile looks that align with their campaign’s message and aesthetic. I’ve been building my portfolio since over 10 years in the industry. To attract producers, agencies, photographers and brand collaborations, my portfolio must reflect a range of styles, from natural, minimalist looks to bold, high-fashion glam. Ensuring my portfolio is updated regularly and showcases my best work.

As a professional makeup artist in Atlanta, GA I work a lot of TV commercial shoots. I split my time between Los Angeles and Atlanta for work.

Being a professional makeup artist in Atlanta, particularly working on commercial and film shoots, is an exciting and dynamic career that blends creativity with technical skill. Atlanta is one of the biggest hubs for film and television production in the U.S. thanks to its growing reputation as a “Hollywood of the South,” and the opportunities in this industry have exploded in recent years.

Film and TV commercial shoots are fast-paced, requiring me as a hair and makeup artist to work quickly without compromising on quality. In many cases, I’ll need to be ready for last-minute changes in direction or creative decisions. Being flexible is key, especially in Atlanta, where the production scene is booming, and different types of shoots are happening all the time—from commercials for major brands to TV shows, blockbuster films. Often, I have to work on tight schedules, sometimes juggling multiple talents, all while maintaining a professional attitude.

Atlanta’s film and commercial scene is a close-knit community, and networking plays a crucial role. Attending industry events, joining local unions or professional organizations, and participating in makeup workshops are also great ways to stay connected and up-to-date with trends and new techniques.

Being a makeup artist in Atlanta, working in different locations, projects also allows me to be flexible, research, purchase, and try different beauty lines, techniques. IEEE Photo Shoot | San Diego Makeup Artist

As a San Diego makeup artist, I had the luck of working with IEEE at the San Diego University on a corporate photo shoot for 1 day. We shot corporate headshots of Kathleen A. Kramer. I created a natural hair and makeup look and for wardrobe styling the client requested a business casual outfit.

IEEE and its members inspire a global community to innovate for a better tomorrow through highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. IEEE is the trusted “voice” for engineering, computing, and technology information around the globe.

I did styling and hair-makeup on our talent, Kathleen. Kathleen A. Kramer is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of San Diego, San Diego, CA. She worked to develop new engineering programs as a founding member of the faculty and eventually became the chair of electrical engineering, and then serving as Director of Engineering (2004-2013), providing academic leadership for all of the university’s engineering programs.

The headshots were shot by Peter Adams. Peter is a California based photographer whose work includes portraits and reportage for editorial and corporate clients. His focus on the technology industry has lead him to photograph a wide range of inventors, computer scientists, robots and CEOs. Peter’s background in the technology industry enables him to develop a unique rapport with his subjects and tell stories that communicate complex concepts. Peter is based near Los Angeles in Ojai, California and travels extensively.

I had an amazing time collaborating with IEEE , Kathleen A. Kramer and Peter Adams as a San Diego makeup artist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

MVE Campaign Photo Shoot | Makeup Artist in Los Angeles

As a makeup artist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with MVE in Downtown LA on a campaign photo shoot for 1 day. During this photo shoot I did hair and makeup for 3 models/dancers.

Established in fall of 2024, MVE is founded on the principle of providing elite athletic & athleisure wear for everyone. Owner Dominic Franco started the Dominate brand in May of 2021. Dominate Technique was the first of the brand that focuses on elite technical dance training all around the world. Their products designed to complement your body.

I love working with athleisure brands because I always have a lot of fun styling the wardrobe pieces. For hair and makeup usually I go for a camera / ready natural look.

The Ritz Carlton Branded Video and Photo Shoot | Traveling Makeup Artist

As a traveling makeup artist, I had the luck of working with The Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay on a branded video and photo shoot for 2 days.

About The Ritz Carlton: The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, LLC is an American multinational company that operates the luxury hotel chain known as The Ritz-Carlton. The company has 108 luxury hotels and resorts in 30 countries and territories with 29,158 rooms, in addition to 46 hotels with 8,755 rooms planned for the future.

Our shoot location was in Half Moon Bay, this hotel is a Forbes 5-star resort that delivers coastal luxury, rejuvenating spa, world-class dining, outdoor adventures, championship golf, and curated activities.

The photos and videos were produced and shot by Liquorice Productions. They are a team of forward-thinking creatives with one common goal, to elevate brands and tell stories. From day one, they’ve always strived to provide nothing but the best for their customers, it’s helped them make the right decisions, win awards for their service, and build a business that’s always innovating. Launching in 2016, they set out to make creative content production more accessible and higher in quality. They brought great service, clear information, and honesty to a misunderstood industry. Amazon Blink Holiday Commercial | Professional makeup artist

As a professional makeup artist , I recently I had the luck of working on an Amazon Blink Holiday commercial shoot. I created the hair and makeup looks for the talents during the 2 day shoot.

Plus, they work with select Alexa-enabled devices! Blink is proud to be an Amazon company.

I was hired by Stept Studios for this commercial shoot. Stept is an award winning creative and production studio. Known for work that feels more like entertainment than advertising. They partner with brands, agencies, and platforms to create campaigns, commercials, and branded content with authenticity at its core. Their award-winning roster of directors represents the next generation of storytellers, working across commercial and documentary genres.

The commercial was directed by Adam Patch, a commercial and film director. We were filming at the Golden Oak Ranch. Located within the 30-Mile Zone, the Golden Oak Ranch is a movie ranch like no other. Understanding that getting the most out of a shoot day is vital in today’s film, television and commercial industry, Disney and ABC Studios constructed two back lots on the Ranch—a Business District and a Suburban Street—so that part of the day could be filled staging an outdoor football scene in one of the many meadows, while the other part could be spent filming a crime scene in the alley at the Business District.

As a traveling hair and makeup artist , I recently I had the luck of working on the WebexOne 2023 AI conference event in Anaheim at the Marriott Convention Center. I created the hair and makeup looks for the speakers during this 3 day event.

About WebexOne: Webex by Cisco is an American company that develops and sells web conferencing, videoconferencing and contact center as a service applications. It was founded as WebEx in 1995 and taken over by Cisco Systems in 2007. Its headquarters are in San Jose, California.

I was hired by The Bella Agency. About The Bella Agency: Established in 2004 in New York City, Bella Agency is one of the leading boutique agencies representing a diverse pool of models and talent for print and commercial advertising. Their unique niche, housing both a fashion and a lifestyle division in one agency, is what sets Bella apart in a highly competitive industry. Irresistible Me Collaboration | Luxury Human Hair Wigs

This was the second time that I had a chance of collaborating with a luxury human hair wigs brand called Irresistible Me. As a Los Angeles celebrity hair stylist Irresistible Me wigs have been a huge part of my work, I love using their products on my clients.

Follow these steps to apply the hair wigs:

Prep your hair. Put your hair up close to your scalp and cover it with the wig cap. The goal is to keep your locks as flat as possible. Ideally, use a mesh cap in a similar shade to the wig’s color.
Secure the wig. Locate each securing/adjusting strap and try the wig on your head to find the best settings for your comfort.
Install the wig. Bring the wig over your head and place it perfectly on your hairline. Fix it in place and secure it with the combs inside the wig cap, adjust accordingly. Finally, cut the lace and glue the wig to your hairline.
Style it as you like. Irresistible Me human hair wigs have a pre-plucked hairline for a natural look and thanks to the front lace, you can part the hair however you like. Don’t forget to use hair protectant when you style your wig.

Traveling hair and makeup artist | Marriott | Le Méridien Salt Lake City Downtown

As a traveling hair and makeup artist , I mostly work on TV commercials, branded videos, fashion shoots, events and photo shoots around the world. Recently I had the luck of working on the Travel By Design unique storytelling series.

About Marriott: Marriott Hotels & Resorts is Marriott International’s brand of full-service hotels and resorts based in Bethesda, Maryland. As of June 30, 2020, there were 582 hotels and resorts with 205,053 rooms operating under the brand, in addition to 160 hotels with 47,765 rooms planned for development.

Designer Sherry Kobashigawa’s career began in set design, which explains her drive to encorporate storytelling into the elements of her creative process.

Kobashigawa joined the team at Le Méridien Salt Lake City Downtown after construction was already underway. Nevertheless, she got to work and designed the hotel, including Parisien and Mid-century influences that meet at the intersection of the story, the landscape and the building itself.

Inspired by the mountains and the setting of Salt Lake City, Kobashigawa drew upon the grid system the city was built on to inspire the art and textiles to bring it all together. “We wanted to tie in this notion of found items as well as the element of travel.” It was the spirit of the golden age of travel that brought the story to life in a way that helped everything fall into place.
