Professional Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Beautycon LA Event

Professional Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Beautycon LA Event

As a professional makeup artist in Los Angeles, I attended at the 2019 Beautycon LA event in Downtown Los Angeles, California. It is one of many events at the forefront of what’s known as experiential retail, a delicate dance of marketing, entertainment, and shopping designed to attract consumers. As much as I love shopping for beauty and fashion products I also like to try them and talk about the brands with the creators so it is a perfect combination for me.

Beautycon is an annual beauty festival where attendees can shop products from the biggest makeup, skincare, hair, and nail brands via 150+ booths and activations. Fans can also attend panels that feature beauty’s most influential celebrities, content creators, and entrepreneurs, along with special performances. The event takes place throughout the year in Los Angeles, New York City and Tokyo.

It is described as a fashion and beauty summit for the internet’s most influential and everyone who’s obsessed with them. It is your favorite beauty gurus and YouTubers and all that jazz in one place. You can visit the influencers, ask them questions, learn about amazing beauty products, shop, and watch performances. Being a professional makeup artist it is very important to create a personal connection between you and the brands you are working with.

Being a celebrity makeup artist I have to be always up to date and follow the trend so I can recommend to my clients the best beauty and fashion products that is availble on the market.

I had an excellent time attending the Beautycon LA event as a professional makeup artist in Los Angeles, I hope to go to more beauty events like these in the future.

Hair and Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Collaboration with KITSCH

As a hair and makeup artist in Los Angeles, I collaborated with KITSCH, a US-designed female-owned global accessory brand. I always love to try new products, KITSCH sent me 5 amazing accessories.

KITSCH is proud to be recognized as a self-financed, built on positivity and pure hard work. Established in 2010, with a business plan no longer than a paragraph, Kitsch has grown from door to door sales to selling products in over 27 countries across 20,000 retail locations worldwide. KITSCH is committed to creating high-quality products that are effortless, elevated, and easy to use. Fashion accessories are not only for special days, they are for every day, to make you feel more stylish and confident every single day and KITSCH knows what is trending in 2020. Any woman of style will know how accessories can prove to be a powerful tool that they need to glam. No outfit is complete without accessories. As a hair and makeup artist when I experiment with statement jewelry, I stick to one statement piece at a time. You want your statement piece to shine.

Minimalist jewelry is a trustworthy way to accessorize on a daily basis. You can deck up a couple of minimal pieces to make yourself stand out in the crowd or maybe go for just one or two minimal pieces for a more subtle look.

I had an excellent time collaborating with KITSCH as a hairstylist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with him for the future.

Key Make-Up Artist in Los Angeles | ANTARCTICA Short Film

Key Make-Up Artist in Los Angeles | ANTARCTICA Short Film

As a key make-up artist in Los Angeles, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Xi He, director of his Antarctica short film. I was the lead makeup artist and hair stylist on this project. We were shooting for 5 days in Los Angeles.

Our cinematographer was Laura Jansen. Laura was born in Chicago, Illinois and raised in a small suburban town 25 miles south of the city. Much of her free time as an only-child was spent either in front of a television screen or in a movie theater. It was there that she fell in love with film’s ability to completely immerse her in the narrative and take her to a different place entirely.

I love my job as a makeup artist and I love working with a wide range of different looks and styles that my clients request. I get excited about working with directors such as Xi He and cinematographer Laura Jansen. I am always curious as to what I can contribute to these projects. Most of all, I delight in seeing my work used by clients in their social media posts, films, campaigns, and websites. In this short film for our actors, I created natural and camera-ready hair/makeup looks.

I had a great time collaborating with Xi He and his team as a key make-up artist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with him for the future.

Hair Stylist in Los Angeles | Collaboration with Sultra Beauty

Hair Stylist in Los Angeles | Collaboration with Sultra Beauty

As a hair stylist in Los Angeles, I collaborated with Sultra Beauty, an innovative, fashion-forward hair tool brand utilizing healing technology to strengthen your hair while you style. Sultra is founded by veteran hairstylist Dana Story in 2008.

Created by a stylist, for stylists, Sultra’s infrared and ionic technology-infused tools promote the healing of the hair and scalp all while breaking down excess moisture and water molecules, both left on the hair and within the surrounding environment, to penetrate the hairs cortex to strengthen and hydrate the hair from within. Fostering the brand ethos that styling your hair should be predictable, reliable, and fun, Sultra is dedicated to creating high quality, high-performance tools that deliver superior results.

Working as a Los Angeles hair stylist is a very challenging job. Not all hair type suits a person/project plus that there is a constant need to go with the new trend and seeing what the project requires. Plus if you are a celebrity hair stylist your work will be watched over by everyone in the industry. Usually, I work on photoshoots, press, editorial, celebrities, and as well as I collaborate with established brands such as Jimmy Choo, Nike and Disney.

I always love to try new products, Sultra Beauty sent me 2 amazing irons, one of them is the After Hours Style, Wave and Straighten Iron and the other one is the After Hours 1.5-Inch Styling Wand which creates bombshell waves.

I had an excellent time collaborating with Sultra Beauty as a hair stylist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with him for the future.
