Personal Stylist in Los Angeles | Sugar Lady

Personal Stylist in Los Angeles | Sugar Lady

As a personal stylist in Los Angeles, I love to work with fashion brands who has the eye for luxury and trendy clothes. I collaborated with Sugar Lady on one of their TV commercial shooting. Fred and Farid agency come up with the creative concept and 5th avenue helped executing this fashion commercial production.

A personal stylist role is helping to mix and match the wardrobe and finding for each occasion/scene choosing the most fitting outfit.

  • Welcome customers as they enter
  • Identify clients’ needs and help them find clothing items that fit their body type
  • Create complete looks from head to toe to match clients’ style
  • Offer personalized styling tips
  • Pick and recommend shoes and accessories that complement clients’ outfits
  • Inform customers about fashion trends
  • Provide product details, including fabrics, wash care instructions, prices and discounts
  • Suggest alternative outfits and colors to create unique looks
  • Ensure proper product presentation and stock replenishment
  • Remember client’s names, sizes and preferences and maintain friendly relationships

Personal stylists in Los Angeles work for individuals, fashion houses, and clothing brands, and will sometimes require traveling to different parts of the world. Some of the main responsibilities include providing fashion advice, choosing and coordinating outfits for models in photo shoots or actors in television and film; and choosing props and accessories and preparing them for shoots. Working as a freelance fashion stylist in Los Angeles has given me the opportunity to be more creative with styling, choosing which style is better for each shoot, what works and what doesn’t, and learning something new everyday.

I had a great time working with Sugar Lady as a personal stylist in Los Angeles and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

TV Commercial wardrobe stylist | Global Leadership Network Brand Anthem Video

TV Commercial wardrobe stylist | Global Leadership Network Brand Anthem Video

As a TV Commercial wardrobe stylist I often travel for work. During this project, I collaborated with Global Leadership Network, OX Creates and Justin Bell Productions. This spot for the Global Leadership Network, was shot over 1 day in Santa Clarita, California with a stellar Justin Bell Productions commercial production team.

For this shoot, alongside my duties as a TV Commercial wardrobe stylist, I was also in charge of the production design, as well as the set design. Since each of the characters in this brand video are from different parts of the world, I needed to ensure the set and costume designs for each character were appropriately placed in order to represent their stories in the best way possible.

Global Leadership Network is a community who is committed to learning from each other and using our influence to accomplish God’s purposes on earth. Since GLN founding in 1992, they’ve held a deep-seated belief that the Church is God’s plan to redeem and restore our world. GLN initial focus on sharing ministry innovations with pioneering church leaders has evolved, and now they exclusively focus on leadership development. Today, GLN exist not just to serve church leaders, but Christians in all sectors of society to impact the world.

I had a great time working with Global Leadership Network, OX Creates and Justin Bell Productions as a Los Angeles wardrobe stylist and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

Los Angeles Creative Coordinator | Napapijri Fashion Commercial

Los Angeles Creative Coordinator | Napapijri Fashion Commercial

I got hired by THF as a Los Angeles creative coordinator to work on this commercial. Tiger House Films was approached by Zelda Andreoli of Brand Consulting Agency Zelda Zelda to work with Golab Agency and creative director Ced stefan pakusevskij of FullScream to be the on the ground production company for the new Napapijri SS19 Fashion Commercial stills and video campaign.

The new campaign for Napapijri produced by Tiger House Films fashion commercial production company in Los Angeles entitled “Future-Positive”, is the new Spring/Summer 2019 campaign by Napapijri. The Italian, Milan based brand has an inclusive approach in this campaign, expressed through the casting of globally diverse and emotionally expressive models. The story artfully mixes friendship, adventure, and romance following the cast as they initiate a new member to the Napapijri Tribe.

Tiger House Films fashion commercial production spanned 2 days with locations all over Los Angeles from the LA River to The Hollywood Hills to Malibu. With a cast of young models from several agencies, the logistical challenges were often present but handled by the on the ground team of producers and stellar crew. Eli Arenson was our DP and he chose to use Panavision as our camera vendor for the project. We were also supported by our aerial collaborators Drone Dudes as we captured some incredible shots from both the air and on the ground.

As a Los Angeles creative coordinator I was responsible of the wardrobe styling, hair / makeup looks and generally the film creative appearance during this fashion commercial production. This fashion commercial campaign will be a part of the launch of Napapijri’s SS19 Collection, which envisions an unlimited future where different ethnic and diverse inspirations come together to form a collage of aesthetic influences: from Moroccan tapestries to workers’ uniforms, all the way to 1980s’ preppy Miami.

We hope to work with this international team in the near future as it was a stellar experience the first time around!

Celebrity stylist in Los Angeles | Magic Johnson Champion Commercial

As a celebrity stylist in Los Angeles, I had the luck to work with Magic Johnson, the legendary basketball player in conjunction with the Champion sportswear brand. Champion is partnering with sports legend Magic Johnson to support its centennial anniversary campaign – “100 Years for the Team” – that will explore what it means to be a team. As part of the campaign, Champion will engage with teams small and large around the world to share their passion for teamwork and what it means to them to be a team.

Exposure Agency hired me for the celebrity stylist position on this shoot,.Their team flew to Los Angeles from England specifically for this commercial shoot. Exposure is an integrated, creative communication agency based in London. It was very exciting to collaborate with Exposure on this Champion advertising campaign. I had a couple of days pre-production work to select and prepare all of Magic’s outfits for the shoot day. I worked in conjunction with the photographer and video team to organize the shot list and decide how any outfit changes Magic Johnson needed in order to capture the concept the client required.

Champion is an American manufacturer of clothing, specializing in sportswear. The brand is a subsidiary of HanesBrands Inc., which was spun off by the Sara Lee Corporation. The company was originally based in Rochester, New York, prior to its acquisition by Sara Lee.

Stylist and image consultant | MONCLER Collaboration

Stylist and image consultant | MONCLER Collaboration

As a stylist and image consultant, during my graduation year in Hungary, Budapest in 2012 I collaborated with Moncler to create a collection from their fabrics. I was inspired by the Japanese culture and I love the shape / style of the kimonos so I wanted to produce those looks from Moncler fabrics. I teamed up with a factory in Hungary who showed me how to sew those fabrics and form the designs I had in mind.

For the graduation collection I used very bold colors and interesting patterns, the coats now come in every size, shape, color, and even material. Being a Los Angeles stylist and image consultant I always check what is their newest designs and I love everything what they create at Moncler. Recently seen on runways and beloved by street style stars, there’s an unexpected level of cool associated with such outerwear.

Vivienne Balla, fashion photographer shoot this collection in a Japanese restaurant in the heart of Budapest. She is based in Berlin, but splits her time traveling between London, Paris and Milan. She specialized in editorial and beauty photography. She also shoots for magazines now such as VOGUE, Harper’s Bazaar and Elle.

About Moncler: Founded in 1952 in Monestier-de-Clermont, Grenoble, France, Moncler is now located in Italy. Over the course of the years the brand has merged style with ongoing technological research, which harnesses the knowledge of mountaineering experts. Moncler collections combine extreme needs with day-to-day city life. Beginning in 2003, when Remo Ruffini entered in the Group, a process of repositioning of the brand was initiated through which Moncler products take on an ever more distinctive and exclusive aspect.

Los Angeles Kid’s Stylist | Kidsdream US 2019 SS Collection

Los Angeles Kid’s Stylist | Kidsdream US 2019 SS Collection

I collaborated with Kidsdream US for the third time as a Los Angeles kid’s stylist on their 2019 SS Collection photoshoot in a Downtown LA studio. I had 3 little girls to style and do hair and makeup for. Our theme was easter so we had 6 live bunnies on set. The kids absolutely loved the shoot, they were playing with the bunnies during the shoot.

The kid’s styling and hair makeup were matching to the shoot theme, they were wearing bunny ears and the designs of the dresses were very summery and light. I matched their hair and makeup looks according to the style so I curled their hairs and applied light makeup. When I’m styling kids my number 1 rule is they have to feel natural and comfortable in their looks.

We had pastel color backdrops matching to the dresses and the producer Chewy brought a lot of flowers, balloons, stuffed animals and Easter baskets to set in order to create the 2019SS easter vibes. As a Los Angeles kid’s stylist, I loved working on this set and can’t wait to receive the final images from the brand.

As a Los Angeles stylist in my opinion from the colors to the styles to even the shoes, their dresses really are perfect for those special occasions. They truly have a wonderful selection of gorgeous dresses that are great for all the little princesses out there. In conclusion, I loved working with Kidsdream US and hope we can continue collaborating on upcoming photoshoots in the near future.

Freelance wardrobe stylist | Birdies Slippers Campaign Video

Freelance wardrobe stylist | Birdies Slippers Campaign Video

As a freelance wardrobe stylist, I collaborated with Tiger House Films, commercial and branded content production company on video campaign for Birdies slippers. THF has the privilege of producing many fashion and luxury brand campaigns in both the video and still photography.

Our branded content production with San Francisco based company Birdies Slippers consisted of four separate videos for social media, hi-lighting different styles from their current diverse and colorful collection.

Birdies, is a footwear company founded by former Facebook and Ross Stores executives, Bianca Gates and Marisa Sharkey. The brand markets their products to busy, on the go women. The brand designs stylish house slippers that combine a seven layer sole for comfort and, a hard sole so that they are wearable outdoors like sneakers, the slippers sell for around $140.

The themes our branded content production company formulated with the Birdies team consisted of videos named the holiday, travel and evergreen spots, each telling a unique story surrounding one model. As a freelance wardrobe stylist, I had to change our model, Olga multiple times throughout the 2 shooting days and match her outfits to the different themes.

The holiday branded content production was appropriately marketed for the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons, consisting of holiday decor, baking, shopping and table setting.

Our other branded content videos had our model making travel plans, going to the bakery, playing with her puppy and other fun activities all while wearing her birdies slippers. I had a great time working with Birdies and THF commercial production company as a freelance wardrobe stylist and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

Tiger House Films production company worked in conjunction with the birdies creatives to implement a tight schedule with various location moves.

Los Angeles celebrity stylist | How to become a successful stylist?

Los Angeles celebrity stylist | How to become a successful stylist?

As a Los Angeles celebrity stylist, your job can be very exciting and you can jump from one project to the next. In this blog article, I will give a couple of tips on how to become a successful Los Angeles celebrity stylist.

First of all, you will need to build your network and nurture relationships. As you start working, you’ll meet so many people that can help you along the way including brands, individuals, production companies or agencies.

As a celebrity stylist, you need to create your portfolio and figure out your style and what you are good at. For example, I started my career as a fashion designer but then quickly realized I’m better at styling so I pursued this career. There are many different categories of fashion styling as well, like celebrity styling, wardrobe styling, editorial styling, etc. Find out what kind of work really speaks to you, and pursue that.

Do your research. For every project or event, you will need to spend hours working on your laptop and develop your lookbook which you going to showcase to your clients. Always bring a lot of backup options for dresses, shoes, and accessories. On the day of the shoot or event, everything can change.

As a Los Angeles stylist, you will need to compete with other stylists for the most wanted dresses. In Hollywood the level for a stylist is very high, all of the celebrities want to be the best dressed for their events so you will need to make sure you are the one who styled them. For red carpet events, like the Oscars you have to be really well-planned and organized.

Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | Gillette Fuse Commercial

Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | Gillette Fuse Commercial

As a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Gillette. and Justin Bell Productions on their new product launch “Gillette Fuse” commercial.

I had 3 talents/models to style and work on their hair and makeup looks.

The client requested V neck and crew-neck tee options with a not-too-high neckline in solid colors: white, grey and Gillette blues only and for bottoms sweats or non-distracting pajama.

We asked the talents to arrive fresh out of the shower hairstyle and contemporary cut, as the makeup looks go I applied camera-ready makeup. The talents shaved on the camera so they had to have 2-3 days of facial hair.

A professional wardrobe stylist is one of the trending professions within the fashion and commercial world globally. What a wardrobe stylist does is select the clothing and accessories for commercials, editorials, print or TVC advertising campaigns and music videos produced by advertising agencies and production companies. This profession is really essential to these companies because if not for the styling and branding, the message of the commercial will not be communicated across to the audience and customers.

As a TV commercial wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I mostly work on TV commercials, branded videos, and campaigns. I really enjoyed collaborating with the production team on this Gillette commercial. I get excited about working with brands and about what I can contribute to their project. Most of all, I love the delight of seeing my work used by clients in some of their major campaigns.
