Jacuzzi Photo & Video Campaign | Hair and Makeup Artist

As a hair and makeup artist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with Jacuzzi on their photo and video shoot. I did hair and makeup for five models. We worked on this campaign during 3 days in a beautiful house location in Riverside, California.

This campaign was produced by Kyle K Chapell. Kyle is a bilingual (English & French) freelance DP, Camera Operator & Photographer. Live & Event experience includes Beast Games on Prime Video, UFC 232, NHL Winter Classic, Four Nations Face Off, IIHF World Juniors, VEVO Concerts & more.

A Jacuzzi is a specific brand of hot tub, whirlpool bath, or spa, named after the Jacuzzi brothers who invented the hydrotherapy pump and later the first integrated whirlpool bath with jets, making the name synonymous with jetted tubs for relaxation and hydrotherapy. While often used generically, “Jacuzzi” refers to products from the company, which offers high-quality spas and baths, whereas a “hot tub” or “spa” can be any brand of jetted, heated tub for massage and relaxation.

Legendary for performance, reliability and ease of use, we set the standard by which all wellness products are measured. While imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery, only 65 years of innovation can produce designs made to the exacting standards of the Jacuzzi brand.

Pearl Olives Commercial | Celebrity Men’s Groomer

As a celebrity men’s groomer in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with Pearl Olives on their first commercial shoot. I did hair and makeup for 1 male actor, Max Shippee who played Santa Claus for on this shoot.

This ad campaign was produced by La Panda Productions. La Panda Productions is a production company founded in 2012 by Spanish filmmakers with offices in Spain and Los Angeles.

Pearls is a brand of olives produced by the Musco Family Olive Company, which has roots tracing back to 18th-century Sicily. The company, committed to sustainability, is based in California, where it grows and harvests its olives with American family farmers. Pearls offers a variety of products, including canned and “To Go!” snack cups, and the Specialties line, which are hand-stuffed in Greece.

For a photoshoot, men’s grooming involves prepping skin, shaving or trimming facial hair, styling hair, and moisturizing skin. As a men’s groomer some key steps include

cleansing and moisturizing the skin
shaving for a clean look or neatly trimming facial hair
getting a fresh haircut a few days in advance
ensuring their nails are clean / trimmed
Control shine: For photoshoots, I a small amount of powder on your forehead and nose to prevent glare
Manage dry lips: I use lip balm or vaseline if my clients lips are dry, as the camera can highlight it

Swimwear Shoot with Matt Forma | Celebrity Makeup Artist

As a celebrity makeup artist based in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with Matt Forma fashion photographer on a swimwear shoot in Malibu, California. I did hair and makeup for 1 model for on this shoot. Our location was Leo Carrillo State Park, Leo Carrillo State Park is a Malibu, California coastal park featuring a diverse landscape of rocky beaches, tide pools, sea caves, and hiking trails, named after actor and preservationist Leo Carrillo.

Denver photographer Matt Forma specializes in creating stunning portraits of people and timeless imagery. His work has been published in numerous online and print publications such as 5280 Magazine, Lucy’s Magazine, Jute Magazine, Papercut Magazine, Best Fashion Photos, Arsenic Magazine, and Photo Vogue. He has also worked with various modeling agencies including Ford Models, Next Mgmt, Elite Models, NY Models, nextMODEL, Wolves Mgmt, Stars, and Wilhelmina.

Matt Forma is fun on set, easygoing, and skilled at making clients feel comfortable while helping his subjects look their very best. He’s currently available for commercial work, portfolio updates, headshots, and portraits.

For our first look, I focused on a natural beauty hair and makeup style, using products from Dyson, Amika, Rare Beauty, Tarte, and NARS. For the second look, I oiled Miranda’s skin and wet her hair, which resulted in beautifully glowing images. Our model was Miranda Jade. She is a freelance model and founder of/ owner of Supermodel Management.

IEEE President Cover Shot | Professional Makeup Artist

As a professional makeup artist, I had the luck of collaborating with Peter Adams photographer on an IEEE cover shot featuring president and CEO Kathleen A. Kramer. We shot these images in San Diego, California in a studio location inside the University of San Diego.

Kathleen A. Kramer is a Professor of Electrical Engineering at the University of San Diego in California, USA. She worked to develop new engineering programs as a founding member of the faculty and eventually became the chair of electrical engineering, then serving as Director of Engineering (2004–2013), providing academic leadership for all of the university’s engineering programs. Her teaching interests are in the areas of signal processing, mechatronics and robotics, and communication systems.

About IEEE: The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is a global professional association focused on technological advancement in electrical engineering, electronics, computer science, and related areas. Established in 1884 as the American Institute of Electrical Engineers (AIEE).

Peter Adams is a California based photographer whose work includes portraits and reportage for editorial and corporate clients. His focus on the technology industry has lead him to photograph a wide range of inventors, computer scientists, robots and CEOs. Peter’s background in the technology industry enables him to develop a unique rapport with his subjects and tell stories that communicate complex concepts. Peter is based near Los Angeles in Ojai, California and travels extensively.

Westin Anaheim Commercial | Branded Video Wardrobe Stylist

Being a branded video wardrobe stylist and makeup artist, I had the luck of working with Westin Hotels in Anaheim in Los Angeles, CA. I was the key wardrobe stylist and hair makeup artist on this 2 day commercial shoot.

The Westin Anaheim Resort is a AAA Four-Diamond hotel located directly across from Disneyland and adjacent to the Anaheim Convention Center. It offers a range of amenities, including a rooftop lounge with views of the nightly fireworks, multiple dining options, a pool with cabanas, and a fitness center. The hotel also features 618 stylish guestrooms, including suites and a Presidential Suite

Amenities include a steakhouse, a Mexican restaurant and a rooftop bar, plus a lobby bar and a poolside bar. There’s an outdoor pool and a hot tub, in addition to a gym. Breakfast and parking are available.

The commercial was produced by Tiger House Films, a Los Angeles based production company. The Los Angeles production company / ad agency has produced branded videos for The GRAMMYS, Lexus, Nylon Magazine and many major global brands.

This branded video was shot by Nick Zhang. Nick is a Director of Photography based in LA. After growing up in Guangzhou, China, his passion for cinema motivated him to come to the US at the age of 16, where he studied and graduated in film production major from UCSC. Nick’s cinematography style is deeply intertwined with his roots from both cultures. By blending narrative camera techniques and artistic styles from his origins, Nick’s work embodies a sense of organic and calm intimacy and cultural authenticity.

I had an amazing time collaborating with Westin Hotels and Tiger House Films as a branded video wardrobe stylist and makeup artist on the commercial launch, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Funables Commercial | Los Angeles Hair and Makeup Artist

As a Los Angeles hair and makeup artist, I had the luck of working with Funables on their commercial shoot.

Rare Beauty Collaboration | Clean Beauty Makeup Artist

As a clean beauty makeup artist, I had the luck of collaborating with Rare Beauty by Selena Gomez. Rare Beauty is an American cosmetics company founded by singer and actress Selena Gomez.

Launched on September 3, 2020, the brand takes its name from Gomez’s third studio album, Rare (2020). Rare Beauty is sold through its official website and Sephora stores in multiple regions.

I have received a full set of makeup, including foundations, concealers, blushes, mascara, eye shadows and setting powders for my makeup kit. I love using them on my clients because Rare Beauty products are formulated with a mix of natural and synthetic ingredients. While they are vegan, cruelty-free, and paraben-free, they also incorporate synthetic ingredients for effectiveness. Some key natural ingredients include niacinamide, sodium hyaluronate, peach flower extract, and ashwagandha.

On my commercial and fashion shoots I work with all skin types and different skin sensitivities so having a beauty brand that really understands customers needs and develop the right makeup formulas has been a huge help as a Los Angeles based professional makeup artist.

Rare Beauty stands out as a makeup brand founded on inclusivity, authenticity, and mental health advocacy, redefining what “luxury” means in the beauty industry. It focuses on celebrating individuality and making makeup feel good, not about hiding what makes you unique. The brand’s mission extends beyond products, aiming to destigmatize mental illness through initiatives like the Rare Impact Fund.

As a professional hair and makeup artist, I had the luck of working with Darigold on their commercial shoot in Los Angeles, CA.

About Darigold: Darigold is known for delivering fresh, high quality, value-added dairy products to consumers and customer-driven solutions to organizations all around the globe. They are the 5th largest dairy cooperative in the US and one of the largest privately held organizations headquartered in Seattle, Washington. Today they proudly represent around 430 family farms across the Northwest and produce over 9 billion pounds of milk every year.

The commercial was produced by Stept Studios, Stept is an award-winning creative and production studio known for that feels more like entertainment than advertising. They partner with brands, agencies, and platforms to create campaigns, commercials, and branded content with authenticity at its core. Their award-winning roster of directors represents the next generation of storytellers, working across commercial and documentary genres.

Brandon Lavoi directed this commercial, Brandon is a Clio Award-winning American director and photographer working globally, based in Northern California.

His work has been recognized with two Young Director Award nominations, a 1.4 Award nomination, five Vimeo Staff Picks, as a Webby Honoree, and more than half a dozen Telly Awards. In 2020, he was selected for SHOOT Magazine’s New Directors Showcase. In Summer 2025, he will begin his candidacy in the University of Hartford’s Limited Residency Photo MFA program. He remains available for work globally.

McDonald’s McCrispy Strips Commercial | TV Commercial Stylist

Being a TV commercial stylist and makeup artist, I had the luck of working with McDonald’s in Los Angeles, CA. We were working with 1 celebrity actor, Tzi Ma and other SAG members.

Tzi Ma is a Hong Kong-American actor. He has appeared in television shows including The Man in the High Castle and 24, and films including Dante’s Peak, Rush Hour, Rush Hour 3, Arrival, The Farewell, Tigertail, and Mulan. From 2021 to 2023, he starred in the American martial arts television series Kung Fu on The CW.

IW Group was the creative agency for this commercial spot. IW Group is a fully integrated marketing communications and experiential marketing agency that focuses on multicultural and multi-generational markets.

McDonald’s Corporation, doing business as McDonald’s, is an American multinational fast food chain, founded in 1940 as a restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald, in San Bernardino, California, United States.

This commercial was for McDonald’s new menu item, McCrispy Strips. The fast-food giant revealed that participating restaurants across the country will have McCrispy Strips as a permanent offering by May 5. Some locations, however, are beginning to offer it to customers on Thursday.
