Personal Stylist in Los Angeles | Netflix FYSee Event

Personal Stylist in Los Angeles | Netflix FYSee Event

As a personal stylist in Los Angeles, I attended the Netflix FYSee event at Raleigh Studios in Los Angeles, California. FYSee is a play on FYC, For Your Consideration, which has long been used by TV shows during Emmys voting season. Netflix FYSee lounge is a first for a studio to create such a large pop-up venue open via select invitation. Most traditional TV shows are doing a panel at the TV Academy.

Raleigh Studios hosted about 30 events from May 5 to June 15. The events typically started with a screening of one to three episodes of the spotlight series, followed by a panel with relevant cast and crew before moving next door for a reception with appetizers and an open bar. In the heart of Hollywood, Raleigh Studios has been home to Hollywood mavericks and filmmakers. Since 1915, film industry icons such as Charlie Chaplin.

Being a Los Angeles personal stylist my job responsibilities include working with clients to select the appropriate garments, shoes, and accessories for everyday wear, business meetings, and special occasions, liaising with different stores to locate specific clothing articles and making required clothing purchases. Creativity, confidence, and communication skills are key elements in my job and these are the reasons why I love to connect with people on events such as the Netflix FYSee.

Making all the right wardrobe, hair, and make-up choices are very important when you are attending important events and connecting with your customers, clients, and friends.

I had a great time attending the Netflix FYSee event as a personal stylist in Los Angeles and hope to collaborate with them in the future.

Beverly Hills Personal Shopper | Louis Vuitton X Exhibition

Beverly Hills Personal Shopper | Louis Vuitton X Exhibition

As a Beverly Hills personal shopper, I love to attend events and exhibitions. In 2019, I had the luck of visiting the Louis Vuitton X Exhibition in Beverly Hills, California.

Louis Vuitton has created an exhibition in Los Angeles, CA that showcases its collaborations with leading artists over the past 160 years, complete with custom bags and a tropical pop-up shop. The Louis Vuitton X exhibition at the 468 North Rodeo Drive building in Beverly Hills contained 180 items from the French fashion house’s archive.

Being a personal stylist in Beverly Hills, I help my clients to achieve their desired looks for everyday life, red carpet events, etc by aiding them in the selection of personal style items, such as clothes, shoes, accessories and advising on their hair-makeup styles. Some of my clients prefer to shop together, while some want I shop for them. Usually, I identify my client’s tastes, activities, body type, and desired image in order to tailor a look to each client’s needs.

Shopping in high-end stores such as Louis Vuitton is definitely one of my favorite stops on my personal styling days. Louis Vuitton introduced some of the most famous bags in the world, such as the Speedy Bag and the Neverfull Tote. At this exhibition, we had the pleasure of checking out these iconic pieces in 10 vibrantly colored rooms. Included in the exhibition are six Louis Vuitton Monogram leather duffle bags that have been reinterpreted by renowned artists and designers.

I had a great time attending the Louis Vuitton X Exhibition as a Beverly Hills personal shopper and hope to collaborate with them in the future.

Production Coordinator in Los Angeles | Mani Jassal SS18 Fashion Video

Production Coordinator in Los Angeles Mani Jassal SS18 Fashion Video

I was hired by Tiger House Films as a production coordinator in Los Angeles to create Mani Jassal SS18 fashion video. Tiger House Films Los Angeles video production company teamed up with Toronto based Indian fashion designer Mani Jassal to create a fashion video production for her SS18 collection of traditional Indian designs with a modern edge.

The fashion collection was inspired by a story of an inner journey from a chaotic self-image to inner peace in the garden of desire. Our model Vita Mallela flew in from New York to showcase Mani Jassal’s designs at an Italian villa in the Hollywood Hills.

This was Tiger House Films Los Angeles video production company’s debut collection with Mani Jassal. Her large social media following and rapid growth globally prove the ever-increasing demand for a brand like hers. Her aesthetic is widely recognized all across the world with her pieces being worn by celebrities and influencers like Ashanti, Nazanin Mandi, Madison Beer, Bebe Rexha, Sonam Bajwa, Gigi Gorgeous. Her clothing has also been published in international and national magazines like Vanity Fair, Vice Magazine, Playboy, Marie Claire, and Stardust.

Tiger House Films Los Angeles fashion video production team was able to capture multiple looks during our one day shoot in Hollywood. My job as a production coordinator based in Los Angeles was keeping us on schedule and making sure we shot all the Mani Jassal SS18 styles we planned capturing. Staying lightweight and mobile along with a strict shooting schedule allowed us to move around the multi-level location quickly and efficiently to give Mani the maximum production value for her collection’s photos and fashion video.

Los Angeles Production Coordinator | IKARIA Resort Wear SS18

Los Angeles Production Coordinator | IKARIA Resort Wear SS18

I was involved in the project as a Los Angeles production coordinator. Tiger House Films has produced a behind the scenes brand video production for our Ikaria fashion commercial / high fashion photo shoot. The project is behind the scenes for the debut of their SS18 ready to wear collection in a gorgeous private home location in Palm Springs. Ikaria’s luxurious coverups are inspired by the jet-setting lifestyle and exotic travel destinations.

This behind the scenes brand video production captures a rare glimpse into the process of shooting our fashion video / high fashion still photo shoot productions. The technical process of the creation of these campaigns is seldom captured due to the fact that our Los Angeles production company only shows the final released and finished products for brands and agencies.

Our supermodel talent for this brand video production was Victoria’s Secret supermodel Barbara Fialho who is originally from Brazil. Our beautiful talent has incredible charisma and her experience over 15 years in the industry shined on camera . Her background as a ballerina gives her the ability be aware of her movements and balance for camera.

Tiger House Films video production team worked seamlessly with photographers Melis+Dainon to create a combination photo & video campaign for Ikaria. This is the second collaboration with Melis+Dainon and they are featured in the behind the scenes production as well.

Palm Springs is the perfect location for a high fashion video and photo production. The dramatic desert mountains provide a beautiful backdrop where nature and bright sunshine are all a part of the incredible aesthetic.
