Traveling Sport Stylist | Retro Reverse Adidas NHL Jersey Fashion Show

Traveling Sport Stylist | Retro Reverse Adidas NHL Jersey Fashion Show

As a traveling sport stylist, I had the luck of working with Adidas and NHL on a Retro Reverse fashion show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Everything old is new with the Adidas Reverse Retro alternate jerseys, a play on all 31 NHL teams’ throwback jerseys with modern twists. This marks the first time every NHL team is included in an alternate jersey rollout, and the collection is a colorful mix of primary and secondary logos, old school and new school striping, and reimagined classics.

As a traveling sport stylist, I was assigned to work on fourteen models, and my goal was to create the perfect looks for each of them so they would look great in the NHL hockey jerseys on the fashion show.

One of the things I love about my job is that it teaches me how to be flexible. Traveling for a job is a prime example of this. I love planning what to bring and checking what I need ahead of the fashion show so that I can come to the location ready to take on the task.

Each jersey was inspired by one worn by the team during a season with some historical significance; the entire design process took about two years. Teams will wear the jerseys multiple times this season, including designated rivalry games.

I had a wonderful time collaborating with Adidas and NHL as a stylist in Las Vegas, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Wardrobe Supervisor in Los Angeles | Fashion shoot with Victoria’s Secret Angel

Wardrobe Supervisor in Los Angeles | Fashion shoot with Victoria’s Secret Angel

As a wardrobe supervisor in Los Angeles, I had the luck working with Victoria’s Secret Angel, Barbara Fialho, who is a Brazilian model and singer.

Being a wardrobe supervisor I supervise all dressers and costumers working on a production. In consultation with the client, director, photographer, and the production manager, I help to coordinate and assign dressers to specific models and locations. In prior to our shoot with Victoria’s Secret supermodel Barbara Fialho I was present at production meetings and location scouting, my primary responsibilities were to prepare everything and to decide with our team in each location which dresses are getting shot.
Barbara is stunningly beautiful and gave the camera incredible charisma. Her ability to be aware of her body and how to move for the camera allowed the creative team to work seamlessly with her. The lead designer behind the new Ikaria ready to wear collection, Leah Hulon created beautiful designs for the brand that fit the location and mood perfectly. As a creative wardrobe supervisor, I loved working in conjunction with the photo and video team.

I had a great time working with Tiger House Films and Ikaria Resort Wear as a wardrobe supervisor in Los Angeles and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

Alibaba handles more business than any other e-commerce company.

I styled 1 model through multiple wardrobe changes during this video campaign production. The wardrobe direction given from the client and director was casual and lifestyle so I brought many options from ZARA, H&M and Forever21 stores.

As an international component of Alitrip, Alitrip Global provides a cross-border platform for foreign excellent travel agencies to access Chinese outbound travelers.

Professional Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | BRAND’S TV Commercial

Professional Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | BRAND’S TV Commercial

Recently 3388 Films found me to style a BRAND’S TV commercial shoot. As a professional wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles,  I was hired onto this commercial production as the key wardrobe stylist.

We had multiple outfits for the talent to match each of the brand’s products and looks. This TV commercial took place on location in Los Angeles in a modern house in West Hollywood. This commercial / branded shoot took 2 days to capture on camera. This particular brand already has a very established style so my job was to match this commercial styling to heir previous campaigns.

As a wardrobe stylist I had been working in Shanghai, China for 5 years where I had the luck to collaborate many times with Asian clients. Through my previous experience, it was easy to understand the type of aesthetic this client was looking for. In terms of color aesthetic, their products are packaged in red a green boxes so I used pastel colors and reds to highlight and complement their branding. We had multiple wardrobe options by the time of the fitting. Everything fit perfectly on the models so during the set, all I had to adjust were the clothes to look perfect the camera. I’m very happy  about how this branded commercial turned out and it truly highlights my job as a professional wardrobe stylist.

I had a great time working with Brand’s Worldwide and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

Los Angeles Wardrobe Stylist | MTailor TV Commercial

Los Angeles Wardrobe Stylist | MTailor TV Commercial

Recently I was called in by Aris production house to collaborate on an MTailor branded TV commercial shoot. As a Los Angeles wardrobe stylist,  I was hired onto this commercial production as the key wardrobe stylist.

There were 4 actors to style and to make sure their outfits fit perfectly on camera, the director and I collaborated heavily on the concept and mood of the shoot. This TV commercial was shot in 1 day on a location where an airplane was built, dressed and used as set design.

Commercials and branded videos have always been a challenge because the pressure and requirements are very high for demanding brands. As a Los Angeles wardrobe stylist the standards of the industry require that I am extremely detailed and on my game at all times.

MTailor is a custom clothing company that exclusively uses a smartphone app which takes your measurements to create custom shirts, trousers, and suits. The concept of this company is to design perfect fitting custom clothing so this made my job easier, not having to fit each actor (it was already done for me!). All their shirts, suits, jeans, chinos, and tees are made of very high quality materials, the seams are neat and even, the fabric feels durable, and all of the buttons are securely attached.

Styling is one of the most important elements of any fashion brand campaign. It governs how your clothes look in your store and helps to ensure they stand out amongst the sea of similar brands on the market. Every adult male should own a suit—just pay attention to the shade you’ve got.

From Miles, the founder of MTailor:

“At MTailor, we are bringing professional quality custom shirts into the modern era. We make it easy, convenient and fast while maintaining an amazing fit and quality shirts.
