Influencer Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | Dear Body Cover Shoot

Influencer Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | Dear Body Cover Shoot

As an influencer wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with Brittany Williams and Vanessa Stump on a 1-day photoshoot in Los Angeles, CA.

Brittany Williams is the best-selling author of three books in the popular Instant Loss series, including Instant Loss: Eat Real, Lose Weight. She has lost 125 pounds since removing processed foods and takeout from her diet and replacing those foods with healthier, homemade meals. She lives in Palm Desert, California, with her husband and three children.

This cover was shot by Vanessa Stump, who has been a professional photographer in Los Angeles, CA since 2001. She is an amazing photographer, it was our second time working together.
The pictures will be published on Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, it is a publisher of textbooks, instructional technology materials, assessments, reference works, and fiction and non-fiction for both young readers and adults. The company is based in the Boston Financial District.
The cover direction was: Show Brittany’s super cheerful, bright, and energetic personality. It has to be playful and youthful. With the first look, we were going for jeans, a simple shirt or blouse, or T-shirt. Colors are mostly neutral with a splash of color. For accessories, I choose a simple and sweet necklace and drop or hoop earrings.
With our second look, we were going for bohemian, desert vibes, floaty skirts or dresses, embroidered tunics, baggy cardigans, and crochet tops. I selected long necklaces, hoops and dangle earrings, and other accessories.

I had a wonderful time working with Brittany Williams and Vanessa Stump as an influencer wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Los Angeles Makeup Artist and Stylist | ShoutoutLA Interview

Los Angeles Makeup Artist and Stylist | ShoutoutLA Interview

Being a Los Angeles makeup artist and stylist, I had the luck of giving an interview to ShoutoutLA Magazine.

ShoutoutLA is part of the Los Angeles-based Voyage Group of Magazines and our flagship publication, VoyageLA was started in 2015. Since then they’ve grown to almost a dozen cities, generated millions of page views and helped tens of thousands of entrepreneurs and creatives share their stories. Along the way they’ve built a vibrant and highly engaged community and Shoutout is about giving that community an opportunity to go beyond stories.

Their first interview question to me was:

“How do you think about risk?
You have to take risks in your life in order to grow. I moved to LA from Asia ( where I lived for 5 years prior moving to the US ) with only 2 suitcases in 2017, only knowing a few people. No matter the outcome, I started working on different sets, began to network. I believe we grow through the process of experience and become stronger and more confident as we move ahead. By taking risks, you give yourself permission to try things out, to learn, to fail, to grow, and to explore. You get to test your limits and go beyond what you believed was possible. You can go after the things in life you really want to achieve and in LA, the sky is the limit!”

I had a wonderful time collaborating with ShoutoutLA Magazine as a Los Angeles makeup artist and stylist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Traveling Sport Stylist | Retro Reverse Adidas NHL Jersey Fashion Show

Traveling Sport Stylist | Retro Reverse Adidas NHL Jersey Fashion Show

As a traveling sport stylist, I had the luck of working with Adidas and NHL on a Retro Reverse fashion show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Everything old is new with the Adidas Reverse Retro alternate jerseys, a play on all 31 NHL teams’ throwback jerseys with modern twists. This marks the first time every NHL team is included in an alternate jersey rollout, and the collection is a colorful mix of primary and secondary logos, old school and new school striping, and reimagined classics.

As a traveling sport stylist, I was assigned to work on fourteen models, and my goal was to create the perfect looks for each of them so they would look great in the NHL hockey jerseys on the fashion show.

One of the things I love about my job is that it teaches me how to be flexible. Traveling for a job is a prime example of this. I love planning what to bring and checking what I need ahead of the fashion show so that I can come to the location ready to take on the task.

Each jersey was inspired by one worn by the team during a season with some historical significance; the entire design process took about two years. Teams will wear the jerseys multiple times this season, including designated rivalry games.

I had a wonderful time collaborating with Adidas and NHL as a stylist in Las Vegas, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.
