Fashion Stylist in Los Angeles | Pocari Sweat Commercial

Fashion Stylist in Los Angeles | Pocari Sweat Commercial

Being a fashion stylist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with the Pocari Sweat and Stories International team on their US launch campaign video.

POCARI SWEAT is a health drink that contains a balance of ions (electrolytes) that resembles the natural fluid balance in the human body. Quickly and easily replenishes the water and ions that your body needs, and quenches every part of you. POCARI SWEAT is quickly absorbed by the body as it is a solution that approximates the electrolyte concentration in the human body. It is the perfect beverage for those that have been perspiring while playing sports, working, or taking a hot bath. It can also hydrate you first thing in the morning.

Stories International is a full-service production, commercial and literary management company based in Tokyo and Los Angeles. STORIES is a creative boutique creating inspiring content including commercials, branded entertainment, and integrated marketing.

This commercial spot was directed by John Michael. JEAN-MICHEL STUDIO is a boutique production based in downtown Los Angeles, working in the fashion and beauty space. John-Michael is a photographer and director based and his work revolves around making objective moments subjective. He does this by creating polished, mysterious, and captivating worlds conceived from his deep curiosity in existentialism and romanticism, his work is experimental in construction but always rooted within a unique point of view.

I had a wonderful time collaborating with POCARI SWEAT and Stories International as a fashion stylist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Los Angeles Makeup Artist and Stylist | ShoutoutLA Interview

Los Angeles Makeup Artist and Stylist | ShoutoutLA Interview

Being a Los Angeles makeup artist and stylist, I had the luck of giving an interview to ShoutoutLA Magazine.

ShoutoutLA is part of the Los Angeles-based Voyage Group of Magazines and our flagship publication, VoyageLA was started in 2015. Since then they’ve grown to almost a dozen cities, generated millions of page views and helped tens of thousands of entrepreneurs and creatives share their stories. Along the way they’ve built a vibrant and highly engaged community and Shoutout is about giving that community an opportunity to go beyond stories.

Their first interview question to me was:

“How do you think about risk?
You have to take risks in your life in order to grow. I moved to LA from Asia ( where I lived for 5 years prior moving to the US ) with only 2 suitcases in 2017, only knowing a few people. No matter the outcome, I started working on different sets, began to network. I believe we grow through the process of experience and become stronger and more confident as we move ahead. By taking risks, you give yourself permission to try things out, to learn, to fail, to grow, and to explore. You get to test your limits and go beyond what you believed was possible. You can go after the things in life you really want to achieve and in LA, the sky is the limit!”

I had a wonderful time collaborating with ShoutoutLA Magazine as a Los Angeles makeup artist and stylist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Personal Stylist in Los Angeles | Studio Shoot with Gay Thomas Wilson

Personal Stylist in Los Angeles | Studio Shoot with Gay Thomas Wilson

As a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I’ve had the opportunity to work with Gay Thomas Wilson on her studio shoot in Downtown LA, at Loft 1923. The portrait photographer was Lesley Bohm, her mission in her business is to help leaders make an impact by elevating their brand with the highest quality photos. She is a photographer with years of experience working with clients to bring out their strengths and authenticity in photographs.

On set, wardrobe stylists are responsible for making the outfit look its best for the production. Whether I’m working on a film, a television commercial, a reality show, photoshoot, tv show, or prime time television, as a film wardrobe stylist, I must get the look and feel of the clothing needed for the production that I’m working on.

Gay Thomas Wilson has the unique ability to motivate and inspire; her authenticity compels you to explore more deeply, dream bigger, and reach higher! She is also an actress and producer, known for Boys and Girls (2000), Love Don’t Cost a Thing (2003), and Homicide: Life on the Street (1993).

Gay Thomas Wilson‘s makeup artist on this shoot was Fran Cooper. Fran Cooper is one of LA’s most talented makeup artists who has worked with A-listers and Super Models such as Cindy Crawford, Amber Valetta, Rebecca Romijn, Diane Kruger, and most notably, Janet Jackson. Cooper has been Janet’s personal MUA for the past 5 yrs and is a big fan of Temptu.

I had a wonderful time working with Gay Thomas Wilson and Lesley Bohm as a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them for the future.
