Traveling hair and makeup artist | Marriott

Traveling hair and makeup artist | Marriott | Le Méridien Salt Lake City Downtown

As a traveling hair and makeup artist , I mostly work on TV commercials,  branded videos, fashion shoots, events and photo shoots around the world. Recently I had the luck of working on the Travel By Design unique storytelling series.

About Marriott: Marriott Hotels & Resorts is Marriott International’s brand of full-service hotels and resorts based in Bethesda, Maryland. As of June 30, 2020, there were 582 hotels and resorts with 205,053 rooms operating under the brand, in addition to 160 hotels with 47,765 rooms planned for development.

Designer Sherry Kobashigawa’s career began in set design, which explains her drive to encorporate storytelling into the elements of her creative process.

Kobashigawa joined the team at Le Méridien Salt Lake City Downtown after construction was already underway. Nevertheless, she got to work and designed the hotel, including Parisien and Mid-century influences that meet at the intersection of the story, the landscape and the building itself.

Inspired by the mountains and the setting of Salt Lake City, Kobashigawa drew upon the grid system the city was built on to inspire the art and textiles to bring it all together. “We wanted to tie in this notion of found items as well as the element of travel.” It was the spirit of the golden age of travel that brought the story to life in a way that helped everything fall into place.

Irresistible Me Collaboration | Celebrity Hair Extensions

Irresistible Me Collaboration | Celebrity Hair Extensions

Recently, I had the luck of collaborating with a celebrity hair extensions brand called Irresistible Me. I love creating beautiful looks and for that Irresistible Me luxury products are a huge support at my work.

About Irresistible MeThey are the first hair extension brand to offer a wide range of hair textures, colors and lengths because we value inclusivity. They launched in 2012, in New York to sell hair extensions, as they saw a big opportunity to simplify hair products. They make playful, easy to use and to shop quality hair products for everybody. Their products help you achieve just irresistible hair, stress-free, risk-free and zero damage transformation always.

The reasons why I love the clip in hair extensions:
  • I can add length and volume in seconds to my clients.
  • Irresistible Me clip-in hair extensions are made with high quality 100% remy human hair. I can dye and style them with hot tools just like my client’s own hair
  • Irresistible Me hair color technology is multi-toned so it blends naturally and seamlessly with my client’s own hair shade. Every set comes with 1 tester piece and your purchase is color match guarantee.

Also I would recommend following these tips on how to take care of your hair extensions:

  1. Brush often. I recommend brushing your hair twice a day as a minimum. Brush your hair extensions in the morning and before bed every night to detangle anything you’ve built up during the day. It’s also a good idea to brush your hair if you feel it becoming tangled at any point during the day.
  2. Limit how often you wash your hair. My recommendation is to wash your hair twice a week when you have extensions.
  3. Hair products matter. Condition the ends with hair oil if needed and always use a heat protectant before styling.

I had an amazing time collaborating with Irresistible Me as a celebrity hair stylist in Los Angeles and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

Stella Rosa Wine Campaign | TV Commercial makeup artist

Stella Rosa Campaign Wine | TV Commercial makeup artist

Being a TV commercial makeup artist , I mostly work on TV commercials,  branded videos, fashion shoots, events and photo shoots around the world. Recently, I got a chance to work on a Stella Rosa wine commercial shoot in Los Angeles, CA. We shot this commercial during 1 day in a beautiful house location. We had 8 talents in total and we captured 4 commercial spots. I created camera ready/ natural beauty hair and makeup looks for everyone.

About Stella Rosa: Born through a rich legacy, Stella Rosa remains at the forefront of innovation. Stella Rosa is not just about producing award-winning semi-sweet, semi-sparkling Italian wines, it’s about evolving with the spirit of the times when it comes to wine trends and popular culture.

It all started in 1917, when the Riboli family founded Los Angeles’ historic San Antonio Winery. Back then, Los Angeles was the prime location for wine growing in all of California. For some time, the wine industry reigned as one of Southern California’s most economically significant and popular industries of that time.

I got hired by Stept Studios, Stept is an award-winning creative and production studio known for work that feels more line entertainment than advertising. They partner with brands, agencies, and platforms to create campaigns, commercials, and branded content with authenticity at its core. Their award-winning roster of directors represents the next generation of storytellers, working across commercial and documentary genres.

I had an amazing time working with Stept Studios and Stella Rosa as a TV commercial makeup artist in Los Angeles and hope to create a lasting business relationship with them for the future.

Being a Los Angeles costume designer means I can work anywhere and at any time. I mostly work on TV commercials, films, branded videos, events and photo shoots around the world. I got a chance to costume design For When You Get Lost, my first feature film.

Summary of the film: In this coming-of-middle-age dark comedy, June Stevenson drags her estranged sisters on a road trip up the Pacific Coast in order to make amends with their difficult father before he dies. Along the way, she distracts herself with picturesque landmarks, craft breweries, and picturesque men in craft breweries, but ultimately she must face the fact that there’s more to her family’s fractures than she thought.
