TV Commercial Makeup Artist | Atlanta Hair and Makeup Artist

As an Atlanta makeup artist I work on a lot of TV commercial shoots. I split my time between Los Angeles and Atlanta for work. Atlanta has become an extremely popular hub for the entertainment and fashion industries, offering a wealth of opportunities for makeup artists to collaborate with brands on commercial shoots.

For commercial shoots, brands typically seek hair and makeup artists who can create versatile looks that align with their campaign’s message and aesthetic. I’ve been building my portfolio since over 10 years in the industry. To attract producers, agencies, photographers and brand collaborations, my portfolio must reflect a range of styles, from natural, minimalist looks to bold, high-fashion glam. Ensuring my portfolio is updated regularly and showcases my best work.

Additionally, having a social media presence, such as an Instagram, Facebook accounts, can be a valuable tool for showcasing your work to a larger audience. I post a lot on social media my most recent works. Brands and agencies often scout talent on these platforms, so consistency in posting my work and engaging with my followers can help increase visibility and attract potential commercial clients.

Working with brands on commercial shoots in Atlanta requires from me a clear understanding of the logistics and expectations of the shoot environment. Commercial shoots tend to be fast-paced and demand professionalism, reliability, and the ability to collaborate with multiple team members. In these environments, being a hair and makeup artist I must be efficient, often working under tight time constraints while I still have to deliver a flawless results for my clients.

Professional Makeup Artist in Atlanta | TV Commercial Shoots

As a professional makeup artist in Atlanta, GA I work a lot of TV commercial shoots. I split my time between Los Angeles and Atlanta for work.

Being a professional makeup artist in Atlanta, particularly working on commercial and film shoots, is an exciting and dynamic career that blends creativity with technical skill. Atlanta is one of the biggest hubs for film and television production in the U.S. thanks to its growing reputation as a “Hollywood of the South,” and the opportunities in this industry have exploded in recent years.

Film and TV commercial shoots are fast-paced, requiring me as a hair and makeup artist to work quickly without compromising on quality. In many cases, I’ll need to be ready for last-minute changes in direction or creative decisions. Being flexible is key, especially in Atlanta, where the production scene is booming, and different types of shoots are happening all the time—from commercials for major brands to TV shows, blockbuster films. Often, I have to work on tight schedules, sometimes juggling multiple talents, all while maintaining a professional attitude.

Atlanta’s film and commercial scene is a close-knit community, and networking plays a crucial role. Attending industry events, joining local unions or professional organizations, and participating in makeup workshops are also great ways to stay connected and up-to-date with trends and new techniques.

Being a makeup artist in Atlanta, working in different locations, projects also allows me to be flexible, research, purchase, and try different beauty lines, techniques. It is a very productive playground for a makeup artist and hairstylist like myself with such creative opportunities to work on various films, TV commercials, and fashion shoots.

Celebrity Stylist and Makeup Artist | Tibloom Magazine Interview

As a celebrity stylist and makeup artist, I get interviewed by Tibloom a Los Angeles, CA-based fashion magazine.

About Tibloom: Bella Trost is the founder of Tibloom Magzine. She is a former gymnast and member of the Hungarian National Team of Sports Aerobics (1999-2001) and a multiple-time world champion fitness athlete and bikini model. She is a qualified sport, dance, and yoga coach, as well as a nutritionist. She spent half of her life training, working out, and doing both dancing and sports professionally.

One of my favorite questions from the interview:

“What does it take to become a good stylist?

In my opinion, you have to look at each overall project. You have to be detail-oriented but can’t get lost too much in the details, what will matter is how everything comes together so you have to focus on the important, broad-scope elements.

You have to have creativity, the ability to imagine, and great communication skills. Another important ability is to quickly spot styles, and trends and to see what works for the client design-wise at the moment. It is a complex job but you learn and grow with every job. ”

As a celebrity stylist and makeup artist, I worked with Old Spice, Tiger House Films, and Ross Butler on a commercial shoot in Los Angeles, CA.

The commercial was produced by Tiger House Films, a dynamic, multi-award-winning full-service commercial and brand media production company headquartered in Los Angeles, CA, known for its vibrant, modern aesthetic. Additional teams are in New York, San Francisco, and nationwide. We have the combined capabilities of an advertising agency, video production company, and post-production house.

About Old Spice: Old Spice is an American brand of male grooming products encompassing aftershaves, deodorants and antiperspirants, shampoos, body washes, and soaps. It is manufactured by Procter & Gamble.

The agency behind this commercial is Plan C Agency. About PCA: They are here to connect brands to multicultural consumers authentically. Our celebrity actor was Ross Butler, Ross Fleming Butler is an American actor. He is best known for his role as Zach Dempsey in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why and as Brett Willis on K.C. Undercover. He currently has 10.6 million followers on Instagram.

As a wardrobe stylist and makeup artist, I attended the Beverly Hills Chamber Of Commerce Innovate event in Los Angeles, CA.

About BHCC: The mission of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce is to empower businesses to thrive by being an invaluable resource for optimizing connections.

Business leaders engage and inspire guests and the Beverly Hills community, as a whole, as they discuss innovations in industries such as entertainment, medical, finance, and culinary. BHCC typically welcomes more than 500 professionals from in and around Beverly Hills, representing a range of diverse backgrounds, including large conglomerates, small proprietorships, chief executives, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders. The event took place at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts.

About me and my job: As a wardrobe stylist, I’m responsible for making the outfit look its best for the production. Whether I’m working on a film, a television commercial, a reality show, a photoshoot, a tv show, or on prime time television, as a film wardrobe stylist, I must get the look and feel of the clothing needed for the production that I’m working on. I work with various clients, such as luxury fashion brands, sports brands, hotels, and many more. I love to travel as well with my job, domestically in the USA and internationally.

I had an amazing time attending the BHCC Innovate event in April 2022 as a professional wardrobe stylist and makeup artist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Wardrobe Stylist and Makeup Artist | Interview with Promenad24

As a wardrobe stylist and makeup artist, I had the luck of collaborating with Promenad24 on an interview article. Promenad24 is a Hungarian newspaper and news channel. It was my second time collaborating with them.

My main responsibilities as a hair and makeup artist on set:

Responsible for the overall design, application, continuity, and care of hair for on-air talent for daily live and taped productions.
Create and design desired hair look to meet production requirements.
Accompany talent onto the set, touch up hair between segments, ensuring that continuity is maintained.
Utilize combs, brushes, and blow dryers to style hair.
Shape hair to the desired style of the production team.
Thorough knowledge of hairstyles, hair care products
Work collaboratively
Consult with the production team, talent, or guest to establish the desired look for the on-air production.
Create and apply make-up to meet production requirements.
Accompany talent onto the set, touch up make-up between segments, ensuring that continuity is maintained.
Remove make-up as necessary
Demonstrate strong and proven make-up application skills including techniques to create specific designs for example, corrective and contouring effects.
Proven skills in glamour/fashion and demonstrated ability to use make-up colors and changing lighting conditions.

As a wardrobe stylist, I’m responsible for making the outfit look its best for the production. Whether I’m working on a film, a television commercial, a reality show, a photoshoot, tv show, or prime time television, as a film wardrobe stylist, I must get the look and feel of the clothing needed for the production that I’m working on.

Freelance Hair and Makeup Artist | Jewelry Campaign Shoot

As a freelance hair and makeup artist, I had the luck of working with Boobie Bling on a 1-day campaign shoot in Los Angeles, CA. I did hair, makeup, and wardrobe styling on multiple talents during this photoshoot production. We shot this campaign in an amazing villa located in LA.

We wanted to embrace the model’s natural beauty with the wardrobe and hair-makeup. We had 3 themes during this production, for the first looks we were going for bohemian styles, the second had an edgy theme and for the third one, we choose nighttime looks. The natural makeup look is all about soft glam and a golden glow. Natural beauty is making a comeback, from makeup to injectables, the way we look is changing. For a glowing skin I live to use Glossier, NARS and Make Up For Ever products.

Fashion Stylist in Los Angeles | Pocari Sweat Commercial

Being a fashion stylist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with the Pocari Sweat and Stories International team on their US launch campaign video.

POCARI SWEAT is a health drink that contains a balance of ions (electrolytes) that resembles the natural fluid balance in the human body. It is the perfect beverage for those that have been perspiring while playing sports, working, or taking a hot bath. It can also hydrate you first thing in the morning.

Stories International is a full-service production, commercial and literary management company based in Tokyo and Los Angeles. STORIES is a creative boutique creating inspiring content including commercials, branded entertainment, and integrated marketing.

This commercial spot was directed by John Michael. JEAN-MICHEL STUDIO is a boutique production based in downtown Los Angeles, working in the fashion and beauty space. John-Michael is a photographer and director based and his work revolves around making objective moments subjective. He does this by creating polished, mysterious, and captivating worlds conceived from his deep curiosity in existentialism and romanticism, his work is experimental in construction but always rooted within a unique point of view.

I had a wonderful time collaborating with POCARI SWEAT and Stories International as a fashion stylist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Los Angeles Makeup Artist | LG Electronics TV Commercial

As a Los Angeles makeup artist, I had the luck of working with LG Electronics Inc. on a 1-day commercial production in Los Angeles, CA. I did hair and makeup on multiple talents during this video production.

The first commercial video for LG RESU by LG Energy Solution. The motto of this video was: “The Real Strength” – Lifestyle Your wonderful life must go on. LG will always be there to back you up.

LG Electronics Inc. is a South Korean multinational electronics company headquartered in Yeouido-dong, Seoul, South Korea. LG Electronics is part of the fourth-largest chaebol in South Korea. LG Electronics focused on developing new innovations across the globe. They are committed to providing electronic products that help customers live better.

The commercial was directed by Amit Gupta. L.A.-based director Amit Gupta has had an international upbringing. He has lived and worked in the U.S., Europe, Asia, India, and the Middle East shooting commercials, music videos, and films. Known for his strong visuals, beautiful imagery, and cinematic authenticity, he is able to infuse global culture and aesthetics into all of his work.

This spot was produced by Justin Bell Productions, he is a feature film, TV, and branded entertainment producer based in Los Angeles. Currently, he’s an executive producer at Tempo helping to oversee the tech fitness company’s media content, In Oct. 2020, his horror-comedy with Disney/20th Digital – “Summoned” – aired on FX, Freeform, and Hulu.

Celebrity Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Audemars Piguet Live Show

As a celebrity makeup artist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with Audemars Piguet‘s team on a 1-day live show production in Los Angeles, CA. I did hair and makeup on multiple talents during this video production, including Kevin Hart. The hair and makeup direction given by the client was camera-ready.

About Audemars Piguet: Audemars Piguet produces some of the finest, most highly coveted watches the world has to offer. The company has written some of the finest chapters in Haute Horlogerie, they are based in Switzerland.

Kevin Darnell Hart is an American stand-up comedian, actor, and producer. Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Hart began his career by winning several amateur comedy competitions at clubs throughout New England.

The event was about Audemars Piguet‘s new collaboration with Marvel. Hosted by long-time friend Kevin Hart and Audemars Piguet’s CEO François-Henry Bennahmias, the live show was full of laughter and encompassed a live band, a music performance by Giveon and the unveiling of Audemars Piguet’s Royal Oak Concept “Black Panther” Flying Tourbillon limited edition. The event culminated with the auction of a unique Royal Oak Concept “Black Panther” timepiece, the proceeds of which will go to the joint programme Audemars Piguet has established with two non-profit organisations, First Book and Ashoka.

I had a wonderful time working with Kevin Hart and Audemars Piguet‘s team as a celebrity makeup artist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future. The event was produced by Gradient, an experimental marketing agency.
