Los Angeles Personal Stylist | Collaboration with MAUBY

Los Angeles Personal Stylist | Collaboration with MAUBY

As a Los Angeles personal stylist, I collaborated with MAUBY. MAUBY is a new apparel brand designed in Los Angeles and globally inspired. MAUBY pieces are designed to cater to fit, comfort, and sophistication.

MAUBY just launched their new Homeleisure collection, they are super comfortable and stylish with a mix of romantic undertones and comfortably structured pieces, their clothes are rooted in quality and individuality. They are dedicated to bridging the gaps in the ever-evolving contemporary fashion landscape. I love to wear their pieces at home.

Being a personal stylist my job responsibilities include working with clients to select the appropriate garments, shoes, and accessories for everyday wear, business meetings, and special occasions, liaising with different stores to locate specific clothing articles, and making required clothing purchases. Creativity, confidence, and communication skills are key elements in my job.

On set, wardrobe and personal stylists are responsible for making the outfit look its best for the production. Whether I’m working on a film, a television commercial, a reality show, photoshoot, tv show, or prime time television, as a film wardrobe stylist, I must get the look and feel of the clothing needed for the production that I’m working on.

MAUBY also sent me a set of 3 amazing face masks. They are double-layered in 100% cotton, their face masks are comfortable to wear all day and come in multiple prints to match your outfit, personality, or mood. I can’t wait to wear them on my next shoots.

I had a wonderful time collaborating with MAUBY as a Los Angeles personal stylist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Traveling Sport Stylist | Retro Reverse Adidas NHL Jersey Fashion Show

Traveling Sport Stylist | Retro Reverse Adidas NHL Jersey Fashion Show

As a traveling sport stylist, I had the luck of working with Adidas and NHL on a Retro Reverse fashion show in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Everything old is new with the Adidas Reverse Retro alternate jerseys, a play on all 31 NHL teams’ throwback jerseys with modern twists. This marks the first time every NHL team is included in an alternate jersey rollout, and the collection is a colorful mix of primary and secondary logos, old school and new school striping, and reimagined classics.

As a traveling sport stylist, I was assigned to work on fourteen models, and my goal was to create the perfect looks for each of them so they would look great in the NHL hockey jerseys on the fashion show.

One of the things I love about my job is that it teaches me how to be flexible. Traveling for a job is a prime example of this. I love planning what to bring and checking what I need ahead of the fashion show so that I can come to the location ready to take on the task.

Each jersey was inspired by one worn by the team during a season with some historical significance; the entire design process took about two years. Teams will wear the jerseys multiple times this season, including designated rivalry games.

I had a wonderful time collaborating with Adidas and NHL as a stylist in Las Vegas, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Key Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Kerrits Photoshoot

Key Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Kerrits Photoshoot

As a key makeup artist in Los Angeles, I had the luck of working with Kerrits on a 1-day photoshoot production in Twin Peaks, CA. I did hair and makeup on the models during this video production. The hair and makeup direction given by the client was camera ready. We wanted to capture the models natural beauty.

Kerrits is an American lifestyle apparel line. Their mission is to thoughtfully design and responsibly create clothes that let women unbridle their personal style and their power to help horses. They opt for materials and processes that are kind to people and the planet. Then, they donate 1% of proceeds to support equine causes. Their styles help you look and feel your best on an adventure or in the office. Curated pieces made from extraordinarily comfortable, responsibly sourced fabrics become a feel-good wardrobe that outlasts trends and seasons.

When I’m shooting outside, especially when it’s sunny out, the model’s faces are more likely to show up washed out in the pictures. To keep this from happening, I make sure to choose a lip color that is a little brighter/bolder than what I’d normally use on an indoor shoot. Along with blush and lip color, I also frame the model’s faces with bronzer. Doing this will bring a lot more color and warmth to their faces, while simultaneously enhancing all of their best features at the center of their face.

I had a wonderful time working with Kerrits as a key makeup artist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

Beverly Hills Wardrobe Stylist | 2021 Spring Summer Trend Forecast

Beverly Hills Wardrobe Stylist | 2021 Spring Summer Trend Forecast

As a Beverly Hills wardrobe stylist, I work a lot on TV commercials, adverting and fashion shoots around the world. Being a fashion stylist I constantly follow the latest fashion trends. Keeping up with the latest fashion trends can be tricky, you constantly need to watch out for existing fashion brands, new rising star designers, and spotting the latest trends before anyone else.

Key Fashion Trends from Spring/Summer 2021 Fashion Weeks:
  • Oversized Shoulderpad Boyfriend Jackets
  • Black Face Masks
  • Brushed Florals
  • Head Scarfs
  • Folk Inspired Coats
  • Yellow and Camel Color Styling
  • Sorbet Pastel Tones
  • White Knee High Boots
  • Yellow Bags

Flowers, which signify new beginnings, peppered the runways. Some designers took an all-over approach by mixing florals head-to-toe. SS21 trend brushed florals are on point right now. Exotic Blooms mix off-beat colour combinations on bright grounds with intricate romantic floral motifs then add an exotic twist.

I love to follow designers as a Beverly Hills wardrobe stylist to get inspired. The bolder, the brighter, and the more impactful seems to be the only way forward for spring. Designers certainly aren’t here for wilting daisies; instead, they’re bringing the floral motifs in sunny yellows, on neon tulip dresses, and on gala-worthy ball gowns in shades of pink so incandescent you’ll need shades to look straight at them.

Fashion Week is the ultimate time to spot the newest trends. Fashion Week happens twice a year here in the US in New York City, once in the second week of September, and once in the second week of February. In the first you will catch the newest Spring/Summer trends and in the second you will catch a glimpse of the Fall/Winter top trends.
