Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | Bumble Nasdaq Billboard

Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | Bumble Nasdaq Billboard

As a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I’ve had the opportunity to work with the Bumble team on a 1-day interview shoot in Downtown Los Angeles, CA. These interview spots were directed by Columbia Tatone and produced in collaboration with Imagination and Local Boy. We were filming 2 couples during this video production who met on Bumble a couple of years ago.

About Bumble: Bumble is a location-based social application that facilitates communication between interested users. In heterosexual matches, only female users can make the first contact with matched male users, while in same-sex matches either person can send a message first.

Based in Austin, Texas, Bumble brands itself as empowering women by letting them make the first move. Wolfe Herd’s personal experiences have played a key role in inspiring some of Bumble’s most distinct features. Prior to founding Bumble, Wolfe Herd worked as one of the founding members of Tinder.

Our shoot was advertised on the Nasdaq billboard in Times Square. Nasdaq originally stood for the National Association of Securities Dealer Automated Quotation system. Nasdaq was founded in 1971. 4 It introduced the world’s first electronic stock market. It provided quotes for Over-the-Counter stocks not listed on other markets. Bumble Inc. raised $2.2 billion from investors as it went public via Nasdaq Thursday morning, with shares priced at $43, above the initial range set for the offering.

I had a wonderful time working with Bumble as a wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with them in the future.

I got hired into this commercial production as a Los Angeles fashion stylist and creative coordinator. Tiger House Films, a boutique production company in Los Angeles, the ultimate goal is to create the best project possible with creative, interesting people. For this reason, it was a dream for THF commercial production team to be working with Zelda Andreoli of Brand Consulting Agency Zelda ZeldaGolab Agency and commercial director Ced Stefan Pakusevskij of FullScream.

The Napapijri SS19 Fashion Commercial stills and video campaign that THF produced with this international crew has been featured in an article in Vogue Italia. It is always a goal for any commercial and fashion production company to be involved in projects that are well received by the international fashion community and being featured in an iconic publication such as Vogue, puts the cherry on top of what was an incredible collaboration with out production partners on this campaign.

As a Los Angeles fashion stylist and creative coordinator I was responsible of all the looks were lined up and organized for the stills and video shoot. This fashion commercial campaign is for the launch of Napapijri’s SS19 Collection, which envisions “an unlimited future where different ethnic and diverse inspirations come together to form a collage of aesthetic influences: from Moroccan tapestries to workers’ uniforms, all the way to 1980s’ preppy Miami”.

Los Angeles Creative Coordinator | Napapijri Fashion Commercial

I got hired by THF as a Los Angeles creative coordinator to work on this commercial. Tiger House Films was approached by Zelda Andreoli of Brand Consulting Agency Zelda Zelda to work with Golab Agency and creative director Ced stefan pakusevskij of FullScream to be the on the ground production company for the new Napapijri SS19 Fashion Commercial stills and video campaign.

The new campaign for Napapijri produced by Tiger House Films fashion commercial production company in Los Angeles entitled “Future-Positive”, is the new Spring/Summer 2019 campaign by Napapijri. The Italian, Milan based brand has an inclusive approach in this campaign, expressed through the casting of globally diverse and emotionally expressive models. The story artfully mixes friendship, adventure, and romance following the cast as they initiate a new member to the Napapijri Tribe.

Tiger House Films fashion commercial production spanned 2 days with locations all over Los Angeles from the LA River to The Hollywood Hills to Malibu. With a cast of young models from several agencies, the logistical challenges were often present but handled by the on the ground team of producers and stellar crew. Eli Arenson was our DP and he chose to use Panavision as our camera vendor for the project. We were also supported by our aerial collaborators Drone Dudes as we captured some incredible shots from both the air and on the ground.

As a Los Angeles creative coordinator I was responsible of the wardrobe styling, hair / makeup looks and generally the film creative appearance during this fashion commercial production. This fashion commercial campaign will be a part of the launch of Napapijri’s SS19 Collection, which envisions an unlimited future where different ethnic and diverse inspirations come together to form a collage of aesthetic influences: from Moroccan tapestries to workers’ uniforms, all the way to 1980s’ preppy Miami.

We hope to work with this international team in the near future as it was a stellar experience the first time around!

Creative Coordinator in Los Angeles | Motorcycle TV Commercial

Creative Coordinator in Los Angeles | Motorcycle TV Commercial

I got hired by THF as a creative coordinator in Los Angeles to work on this commercial. The Continental GT motorcycle commercial production was the first of two international commercial productions we created for Royal Enfield in conjunction with Storytellers.in from Mumbai, India. This spot for the new Continental GT, was shot over 5 days all over California with a stellar Tiger House Films commercial production team.

This first of two motorcycle commercial productions for Royal Enfield was shot in Downtown Los Angeles with an overnight production schedule. Our commercial producers shut down 4th street bridge and shot fireworks off of it, blocked 2nd street tunnel, lower Grand Ave and many blocks of Broadway to accommodate the stunts and precision riding necessary to pull off this motorcycle commercial production.

I was not only the creative coordinator in Los Angeles on this project but also did the wardrobe styling. I had 10 main casts to style. As a TV commercial wardrobe stylist I love working with a wide range of looks and stlyes that my clients request.

Royal Enfield is a historic Indian motorcycle manufacturing brand with the tag of “the oldest global motorcycle brand in continuous production”. The first Royal Enfield motorcycle was built in 1901. The Enfield Cycle Company is responsible for the design and original production of the Royal Enfield Bullet, the longest-lived motorcycle design in history.

This international motorcycle commercial production was an extreme challenge for our production company on many levels. The end results were beautiful and made the journey worth it.

Los Angeles Production Designer | Awana TV commercial

Los Angeles Production Designer | Awana TV commercial

A few months ago, I had the pleasure of working as a Los Angeles production designer and wardrobe stylist with OX Creates and Justin Bell Productions on a commercial shoot for our client, Awana, an international Christian nonprofit organization that focuses on educating children of all ages in biblical studies, and gives them the opportunity to know, love and serve Jesus, regardless of their background. Their mission is to help “reach kids, equip leaders, and change the world for God”.

The commercial depicts the stories of three characters, Chloe, Jay, and Brent. Each of them have their own backstory and from different parts of the world. Throughout the course of the commercial, we see each of them go through their own set of trials and tribulations and how they’re able to find God in the process.

For this shoot, alongside my duties as a Los Angeles production designer, I was also in charge of the fashion/wardrobe styling and design of the costumes, as well as the set direction. Since each of the characters are from different parts of the world, I needed to ensure the set and costume designs for each character were appropriately placed in order to represent their stories in the best way possible. My experience in each of these departments, along with my ability to effectively multi-task, served as a key component to communicating with the clients and producers in the best way possible. For example, we transformed an empty office space into a child’s bedroom. This was no easy task, but we managed to pull it off in a short amount of time.

Despite the hefty load of responsibilities, I thoroughly enjoyed working with Ox Creates and Justin Bell Productions. They gave me the opportunity to channel my skills, ideas, and creativity in order to help bring Awana’s vision to life. OX Creative is a visual content and brand strategy firm that uses their platform to connect up-and-coming talent to global brands that focus on making the world a better place.

Since moving out to Los Angeles in 2017, I have continued displaying my work in commercials and advertisements. I’ve worked alongside many different brands, companies, and organizations such as The Scotch porter, Mattel, Mtailor, North Face, among many others. Now, I can happily add Ox Creates and Justin Bell Productions to the list. I’m very proud of the hard work and dedication that was put into this shoot. If you’re interested, I highly recommend you check out the commercial, which was recently uploaded on YouTube. Go check it out: https://lucabuzas.com/portfolio/awana/

TV Commercial Wardrobe Stylist | Royal Enfield Commercial

TV Commercial Wardrobe Stylist | Royal Enfield Commercial

A few months ago, Tiger House Films hired me as a TV Commercial Wardrobe Stylist. We worked on two TV commercials for Royal Enfield’s brand new motorcycles. These commercials are created in conjunction with storytellers located in Mumbai, India.

Working as a Commercial Wardrobe Stylist is one of the most emerging jobs in the global world of styling. This job engages someone who selects all clothing and accessories for the publishing, TV and advertisement companies, and music, in the creation of videos, performances and public advents made by celebrities. Even these celebrities sometimes hire their wardrobe stylist for TV commercials. Working as a wardrobe stylist is not the job of an individual, but it required the efforts of all the team. A good TV commercial and the wardrobe styles use in it are the result of effective teamwork.

As a TV Commercial Wardrobe Stylist, you have to use different styles and work with your clients in order to design the costume that best fits each character. Being able to come up with a variety of ideas that attract viewers is also very important. The main goal for wardrobe stylists in advertisements is to appeal to the client’s target demographic, which in this case, consists of young, easy-going people in the Indian market.

As a Commercial Wardrobe Stylist, I graft with the larger creative team hired by the clients. As a wardrobe stylist, I have to collaborate with different fashion designers, photographers, and hair and makeup artists. Working on commercials is also a great way to build up your portfolio and help attract new clients.

TV Commercial Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | ForwardX

TV Commercial Wardrobe Stylist in Los Angeles | ForwardX

I had the opportunity to work with ForwardX robotics luggage as a TV commercial wardrobe stylist in Los Angeles. As a commercial wardrobe stylist for photo/video shoots, I constantly need to dress models or actors for certain themes or products. This can involve planning the wardrobe, purchasing the clothing and accessories, fitting the models or actors, and staying on set to make sure the talent looks production ready. After the production days are wrapped I return the clothing and accessories.

In this corporate commercial video the production was going for a modern, business casual look. Our main talent had a very corporate dress code, his outfit had to look professional. The other cast included TSA agents, stewardesses and passenger extras for wardrobe styling. The shoot took place at an airport nearby Los Angeles. We were filming for 1 day. For this particular TV commercial we had to follow a strict dress code policy and make the wardrobe look like real TSA agent uniforms and stewardess dresses.

I love working in this industry as a TV commercial wardrobe stylist. My main focus is to bring order, organization and creativity to productions.

ForwardX is committed to deliver the most intelligent and intuitive-designed robotics, powered by the most cutting-edge computer vision and self-driving technologies. This is the first suitcase which has a robotic engine inside. Consumer robotics is currently being marketed to the public and ForwardX is one of many on the cutting edge of technology shaping the future.
