Los Angeles Commercial Makeup Artist | Collaboration with Supergoop!

Los Angeles Commercial Makeup Artist | Collaboration with Supergoop!

As a Los Angeles commercial makeup artist, I collaborated with Supergoop!, a prestigious skincare brand 100% dedicated to suncare, making it easy to incorporate UV protection into your daily routine.

About Supergoop!: The Best of Beauty-winning Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen Broad Spectrum SPF 40, a clear, primer-like sunscreen with an oil-free, completely invisible, scentless, and lightweight formulation. It dries down clear, making it suitable for all skin types and complexions. The product is paraben, sulfate, and phthalate-free as well as cruelty-free.

Everybody that has done a shoot on location knows that it’s a whole different beast compared to filming in the controlled environment of sound stages. For example, you have to battle the weather elements such as the sun.

MY SUNCARE TIPS ON SHOOTS:

1) Apply natural sun cream, Supergoop! products are perfect for the hot summer days.

2) Don’t forget about the lips. Whilst we all know you have to apply sun cream to your face and body, what many people often forget is to protect our lips too.

3) Cover up your in style and hide from the sun peak times if possible.

Thankfully with many years of experience, I have my makeup kit fully equipped for every project. With the support of Supergoop!, I can have my skincare and sun care products fully stocked. Their products are great, I love to use them!

I had a wonderful time collaborating with Supergoop!, as a commercial makeup artist, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with him for the future. Working with excellent suncare brand such as Supergoop! is truly improved my abilities to provide the best for my clients.

Commercial Hair Stylist in Los Angeles | IGK Collaboration

Commercial Hair Stylist in Los Angeles | IGK Collaboration

As a commercial hair stylist in Los Angeles, I collaborated with IGK, an innovative, styling product brand for the modern generation.

About IGK: They’re a team of four innovative stylists from various parts of the globe and vastly different backgrounds unified in a single vision: to create products designed to fit the lives and needs of the client and hairstylist. By focusing on the needs of their clients, they block out the noise and deliver exactly what their look demands — easy solutions, the most current looks and cuts with multiple styling options.

I always love to try new products, IGK sent me various amazing texture/volumizing sprays, dry shampoo, hair masks, and conditioners.

They work in NYC+LA+MIA, plus pop-up salons in culture capitals throughout the world. Every formula they create is inspired by the stylist, his signature city, and the nuances of what’s trending in that space and time.

As a Los Angeles key hairstylist, I’m in charge of the entire hair department, and I report directly to the production team and clients. Usually, I execute the hair styling for one or two principal actors or models. Working as the key hair stylist on commercials/films/television or fashion shoots requires working in a sanitized, organized, and professional hair and makeup room/trailer. As a film hairstylist, I’m in charge of creating character hairstyle designs and styling actors’ hair on set. Being a hairstylist I work on the film, television, and commercial shoots.

I had an excellent time collaborating with IGK as a commercial hair stylist in LA, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with him for the future.

Freelance Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Partnership with Dr. Dennis Gross

As a freelance makeup artist in Los Angeles, California, I collaborated with Dr. Dennis Gross, a personally formulated cruelty-free skincare brand which is using science & nature for clear, glowing skin, targeting lines, wrinkles, firmness, and dry skin.

Dennis Gross, M.D., is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon who has been in practice for 25 years. Creator of award-winning Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare™, inspired by the skincare concerns of patients at his NYC practice. PETA appreciated and recognized Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare’s commitment to remaining cruelty-free.

The brand has sent me their amazing Dr. Dennis Gross Extra Strength Alpha Beta Peel product. The peels contain both alpha and beta hydroxy acids which gently exfoliate the skin and, according to Dr. Dennis Gross, “weaken the connection between dead skin cells.” This helps to accelerate the shedding process and remove bacteria and buildup, keeping dead skin cells from getting trapped in your pores. I enjoy using this peel product on my shoots since it is cleaning up beautifully my models/actor’s skin before I apply the makeup.

Thankfully with many years of experience, I have my makeup kit fully equipped for every project. With the support of Dr. Dennis Gross, I can have my skincare products fully stocked. Their products are great, I love to use them on my shoots.

I had a wonderful time collaborating with Dr. Dennis Gross, as a freelance makeup artist in Los Angeles, I hope to create a long-lasting relationship with him for the future. Professional Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Beautycon LA Event

As a professional makeup artist in Los Angeles, I attended at the 2019 Beautycon LA event in Downtown Los Angeles, California. It is one of many events at the forefront of what’s known as experiential retail, a delicate dance of marketing, entertainment, and shopping designed to attract consumers. As much as I love shopping for beauty and fashion products I also like to try them and talk about the brands with the creators so it is a perfect combination for me.

Beautycon is an annual beauty festival where attendees can shop products from the biggest makeup, skincare, hair, and nail brands via 150+ booths and activations. Fans can also attend panels that feature beauty’s most influential celebrities, content creators, and entrepreneurs, along with special performances. The event takes place throughout the year in Los Angeles, New York City and Tokyo.

It is described as a fashion and beauty summit for the internet’s most influential and everyone who’s obsessed with them. It is your favorite beauty gurus and YouTubers and all that jazz in one place. You can visit the influencers, ask them questions, learn about amazing beauty products, shop, and watch performances. Being a professional makeup artist it is very important to create a personal connection between you and the brands you are working with.

Instagram Makeup Artist and Stylist | Shanghai The Neon City

Instagram Makeup Artist and Stylist | Shanghai The Neon City

As an Instagram makeup artist, it is always challenging for me to create different looks that catch the eye of the internet audience. This project was one of the special ones that got viral attention. We called it the Shanghai Neon. With makeup and styling alone, you can do so much to get the look and feel you are going for. In Shanghai, the locations were already incredible and we just had to bring our imagination. As an Instagram makeup artist and stylist, I love to bring in projects with futuristic elements.

I created the Instagram makeup and hairstyle looks for this project with a really futuristic vibe inspired by Blade Runner. From the clunky, utilitarian vehicles on the streets to the hulking mega towers that dominate the skyline, Shanghai is a city that’s both a vision of the future and grounded in the modern-day. I used blue color neon eye shadows and matched with purple underline eye shadow and pink lipstick. We painted the model’s nails a neon color as well to get the full look.

For wardrobe styling, we were going for an ultra-modern look so we used MONCLER down-filled jackets. The women’s Moncler jackets are athletic and have a street-inspired design. Modish urban shapes are fashioned from high-tech materials and down padding for an aesthetic that is as eye-catching on the streets and in the final pictures. I am very excited to have achieved our final vision for this project.
