Beauty Makeup Artist | Collaboration with Live Art Love

Beauty Makeup Artist | Collaboration with Live Art Love

As a Los Angeles beauty makeup artist I often collaborate with other creatives. Live Art Love hired me for their beauty shoot in August 2019. I love to work with companies who have great taste in their work and eye for beauty. We worked on this photo shoot during 1 day in a studio in Los Angeles, CA.

Live Art Love is a creative company. They operate all over the globe. With Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York as their main cities. Live Art Love centers around finding the heart of the story. Specializing in storytelling with video production and photography. With an in-house team of photographers, editors, graphic designers, directors and writers. Working together to capture emotions, tone, and branding of a product, start up or a fashion line.

Let me tell you a little bit about the shoot. We worked with 2 agency models from Los Angeles, our art direction was straight forward as we all wanted to capture the models natural beauty. As a Los Angeles beauty makeup artist I really enjoyed our collaboration because this shoot gave me the freedom of creating beauty makeup looks. I prepped both of the models skin with Touch In Sol primer, Paris-Berlin foundation and setting spray.

For one of the model I did a glossy cat eye makeup and straightened her hair, for the other model I created a smokey eye makeup and curly hair with my Amika curling wand kit. I kept their lips natural and applied a light tone Anastasia Beverly Hills lipstick and added Revlon lip-gloss at the end.

Commercial advertising stylist | VoyageLA Interview

Commercial advertising stylist | VoyageLA Interview

As a commercial advertising stylist I got a chance a couple of weeks ago to give an interview to an online magazine called VoyageLA. The interview can be found as part of the Inspiring Stories series here:

http://voyagela.com/interview/meet-luca-buzas-lucabuzas-hollywood/?fbclid=IwAR0MIU9_keVXLCmTJwqo8j-LvPie0Ujxxcl7C-0tTwScBQ-JKBEbD_XSsdQ

Let me tell you a little bit about the interview. VoyageLA asked me a couple of questions via email such as how I started my career, what kind of issues I was facing along the way and about my current/future projects. They gave me about 2 weeks to get back to them which was plenty of time to put together my answers. At the end of my interview they asked me to recommend 5 people who also work in the film / advertising industry because they would like to expend their community to their readers.

I love collaborating with magazines that create interesting stories and connect people together. VoyageLA introduces creatives in different areas of LA, for example they have people in Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica etc. so you can search and read about industry professionals in your area.

About VoyageLA: The Voyage Group of Magazines started in Los Angeles with their flagship publication VoyageLA.  After generating their first million page views in LA they knew their content was resonating with the community. They’ve since grown to a handful of other amazing cities with the help of an incredible network of friends, associates, local insiders and influencers, PR firms, local bloggers, artists, creatives, entrepreneurs and other professionals.

It was a pleasure collaborating with VoyageLA on this interview as a commercial advertising stylist and hope to create a lasting relationship with them for the future.

Los Angeles Beauty Influencer | TYME Iron Pro Collaboration

Los Angeles Beauty Influencer | TYME Iron Pro Collaboration

As a Los Angeles beauty influencer I often collaborate with different brands. TYME sent to me a package including their Iron Pro, Upstaged Thermal Protectant and their Tymeless Protect & Shine. As a beauty influencer in Los Angeles, I mostly work on TV commercials, branded videos, and campaigns so I always need to have my kit professionally put together for my clients. TYME products really help me to stay professional and ready for any situation.

I love my TYME iron, you can create any hairstyle you like with it!  You should expect your TYME Iron curls to last for days. Below are a couple of tips to help get more life out of your style:

  • Make sure you are curling at a slow speed, with loose tension. If you gliding too quickly down the hair strand your hair won’t properly heat, which can cause your curls to fall.
  • Evaluate your foundational products.
  • Check your temperature setting. If your hair is thick or naturally curly you may need to go up a heat setting to set in your curls.

TYME designs products that give every individual the confidence to recognize their own unique beauty. They are a small company, and a family, who are committed to making life easier with superior products, next level customer service and education.

Being a Los Angeles influencer means having a social media base with a significant and engaged following. Because of my professional background in Hollywood,  endorsing specific makeup and beauty brands through shareable, digital content allows brands to get their products to the right people.

I really enjoyed collaborating with the TYME. I get excited about working with new beauty products and about what I can achieve with their products from project to project.

Social Media Influencer | Revlon Makeup Collaboration

As a social media influencer , I’ve collaborated with Revlon Makeup. As a Los Angeles social media influencer I build a reputation for my knowledge and expertise on a particular topic. I make regular posts about that topic on my preferred social media channels such as Instagram / Facebook and generate large followings of enthusiastic engaged people who pay close attention to my views.

About Revlon: Always a trendsetter, Revlon has been providing women with accessible and original beauty products to inspire and empower

Wonder Woman Gal Gadot, Ashley Graham, Adwoa Aboah, Imaan Hammam, and Raquel Zimmermann are all breaking the mold in the beauty industry in one way or another. By challenging conventional standards of beauty and speaking up to promote and spread messages of self-love and inclusivity, each one of them has managed to embody what it means to live boldly.

Revlon just announced the five multi-hyphenates as global ambassadors for its new spring 2018 campaign, which is aptly called “Live Boldly” and aims to empower its legions of lipstick-buying loyalists to live each day authentically. Revlon has sent to me numerous times their newest makeup collections including the ‘Live Boldly’ fantastic lipstick collection.

These lipsticks are iconic and have a really good quality. The packaging of the lipstick is my favorite part because it is so classic and beautiful. As a Los Angeles makeup artist I need the lipstick lasts for a long time on my cleints, they of course don’t last on for days, but they look pretty on the lips if you don’t eat or drink. I would recommend them to anybody!

  • With a detailing contour brush, applied a darker shade eyeshadow to the eye socket area and lower lash line. Blended well.
  • Used a flat brush, applied balck eyeshadow and black cream eyeshadow/eyeliner to the lid.
  • Used a the detailing brush to blend out the harsh edges

Joybird, a furniture company hired me as a Los Angeles wardrobe stylist for their commercial spot a couple of months ago. I love to work with brands who have great taste in their marketing and advertising materials. We shot this commercial spot for 4 days in their studio in Los Angeles, CA.

I styled 4 talents through multiple wardrobe changes during this commercial production. The wardrobe direction given from the director was casual and lifestyle so I brought many options from ZARA and H&M stores. In advertising I usually shop new clothes from a variety of brands. I shop A lot, especially if I work on a branded content/ad. I usually shop three to four times the amount I actually need. I’m expected to have endless options for the clients.

Commercial Makeup Artist | Drink Bai Promo Video

Commercial Makeup Artist | Drink Bai Promo Video

As a commercial makeup artist , I’ve had the opportunity to work with Drink Bai on their festival promo video. I was the key makeup artist and wardrobe stylist on this shoot. This stop-motion commercial video was shot in 1 day in a studio in Los Angeles, CA at Sibling in Atwater Village.

Our technique to shoot this commercial spot was really unique. Stop-Motion is similar to Time Lapse in that you’re taking a series of single images at a certain interval, like clouds in a Time Lapse, you’re moving the subject itself and animating it. In Stop Motion photography we were doing the same thing, but instead of shooting all those frames in real time, we were shooting one image, then moving the subject, shooting another image, moving the subject again, and so on. The motion comes together when all those images are edited into a continuous movie.

About Drink Bai: Each serving of Bai offers fresh fruit flavor infused with coffeefruit, our “secret superfruit”, which has antioxidants. Sweetened with stevia leaf extract, Bai is the five-calorie way to bring healthy, bold flavor into your life. Bai’s mission is to share the powerful antioxidant goodness of coffee’s superfruit and always move toward optimum, healthy living.

About the director: Shal Ngo is a writer / director / editor / animator / bean enthusiast. He splits his time between New York, Los Angeles, and Ho Chi Minh City.

I had an wonderful time working with Shal Ngo‘s team as a commercial makeup artist, I hope to create a long lasting relationship with them for the future.

Fashion Show Coordinator | Stella Lam Runway Show

Fashion Show Coordinator | Stella Lam Runway Show

Stella Lam haute couture collection launch is one of my projects I really enjoyed as a fashion show coordinator. It was a great project as I had to work with twelve models of which falls into three different categories of the collection launch. These fashion models were divided into three major themes which include luxury, creative and elegant. As well, I coordinated matching hair and makeup looks to the stunning dresses.

With the increasing social recognition to ‘women’s independence’, ‘dress’ in Stella Lam’s interpretation is more like a fashion icon symbolizing the social civilization. Stella Lam firmly believes that a woman’s charm comes from the different sides of temperament from the inside out, while a well-dressed woman embodies a sense of confidence and the pursuit of quality of life. Therefore, Stella Lam is the embodiment of the art of living.

Derived from care and focus on women’s life, ‘magnificence out of luxury, conciseness out of simple, personality without losing the taste’ features the value of Stella Lam.

Stella Lam is mainly in the service of urban women of all social occasions and moments, paying attention to women’s needs of various body sizes in all ages with various social appearance, providing you a great variety of ready-to-wear and make-to -order dress of all product lines.

I was privileged to display my fashion show coordinator skills to Chinese clients. Artists were the introductory act of the occasion which was educative and entertaining. Distinguished celebrities and influencers were present at the event.
