Los Angeles Makeup Artist | Antonym Cosmetics Partnership

As a Los Angeles makeup artist, I collaborated with Antonym Cosmetics, an organic makeup range that is made with certified natural and organic ingredients. The brand range is free of chemicals such as parabens, sulfates, synthetic fragrances, petrochemicals, and phthalates.

Antonym Cosmetics was founded by Miami makeup artist Valerie Giraud who sought to create the best organic makeup and makeup brushes that were cruelty-free and gentle on the skin. According to Val, natural makeup doesn’t have to mean a natural look. This is why Antonym Cosmetics is certified natural and organic and highly pigmented.

Natural or “clean” beauty has blown up in recent years. As a Los Angeles beauty makeup artist, I care more about non-toxic ingredients and I’m making a conscious effort to pay close attention to harmful chemicals commonly found in makeup products, like parabens. When I choose the right foundation, blush, lip color of my models, actors, and clients I make sure to look for the most natural-looking match.

The cruelty-free organic Antonym Cosmetics’ coverage is sheer but build-able up to medium, and the velvet matte finish is one of the best skin-like finishes I’ve ever seen.

Thankfully with many years of experience, I have my hair and makeup kit fully equipped for every project. With the support of Antonym Cosmetics, I can have my kit products fully stocked. Their products are truly amazing, I love to use them on my shoots.

Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Kari Gran Skin Care Collaboration

As a makeup artist in Los Angeles, California, I collaborated with Kari Gran, an eco-luxe and simple skincare solution beauty brand.

About Kari Gran: All of their hand-poured products are made using only the finest naturally derived, organic, wild-harvested, and non-GMO ingredients. Their oil-based system harnesses plant and essential oils to gently and safely nourish the skin. The products do not have any added water to ensure you’re only getting the ingredients that matter in a potent and effective state.

At Kari Gran, they choose to formulate without parabens as they stay away from ingredients that are linked to harmful diseases or are known to disrupt our body’s natural processes. Sustainable beauty has never been more timely. Kari Gran is very impressive for its luxurious skincare benefits as it is for its environmentally-friendly ethos.

With respect to the cosmetics industry in 2020, “green” and “sustainable” cosmetics are defined as cosmetic products using natural ingredients produced from renewable raw materials. Luckily nowadays, many companies use petrochemical ingredients derived from petrol, a non-renewable and economically volatile resource.

On set it is very important to me to use the highest quality products on my clients because wearing makeup every day can dry out your skin quickly if you are not moisturizing / taking care of your skin properly.

Professional Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Beautycon LA Event

As a professional makeup artist in Los Angeles, I attended at the 2019 Beautycon LA event in Downtown Los Angeles, California. It is one of many events at the forefront of what’s known as experiential retail, a delicate dance of marketing, entertainment, and shopping designed to attract consumers. As much as I love shopping for beauty and fashion products I also like to try them and talk about the brands with the creators so it is a perfect combination for me.

Beautycon is an annual beauty festival where attendees can shop products from the biggest makeup, skincare, hair, and nail brands via 150+ booths and activations. Fans can also attend panels that feature beauty’s most influential celebrities, content creators, and entrepreneurs, along with special performances. The event takes place throughout the year in Los Angeles, New York City and Tokyo.

It is described as a fashion and beauty summit for the internet’s most influential and everyone who’s obsessed with them. It is your favorite beauty gurus and YouTubers and all that jazz in one place. You can visit the influencers, ask them questions, learn about amazing beauty products, shop, and watch performances. Being a professional makeup artist it is very important to create a personal connection between you and the brands you are working with.

Being a celebrity makeup artist I have to be always up to date and follow the trend so I can recommend to my clients the best beauty and fashion products that is availble on the market.

I had an excellent time attending the Beautycon LA event as a professional makeup artist in Los Angeles, I hope to go to more beauty events like these in the future.

Los Angeles Beauty Makeup Artist | Face Genius Commercial

Being a Los Angeles beauty makeup artist, I mostly work on fashion shoots, commercials, and branded videos. I got a chance a couple of months ago to work with Anarchy production company for a Face Genius commercial spot. Anarchy production was contacted by Face Genius to produce several social media videos.

I styled and did hair and make on 3 talents during this commercial production. The wardrobe direction given from the client and director was casual so I brought many options from H&M and Uniqlo stores. For hair and makeup styles, we decided to go with camera-ready, natural looks.

Best Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Venice Beach Shoot With Jordan

As the best makeup artist in Los Angeles, Mathieu Jacobs photographer hired me and model Jordan Clay for a lifestyle, fashion photo shoot in Los Angeles, California. Mathieu reached out to me through my website and he was planning to organize multiple photo shoots across Los Angeles.

Being a professional makeup artist and hairstylist is one of the most varied, adventurous and crazy careers in the world. People are always asking me what my job is like. Is it glamorous? Do I meet amazing people? Is it stressful and draining? The answer … yes! Yes, to all of the above. My schedule is insanely busy, stressful and demanding – but, worth every minute.

Mathieu Jacobs is an internationally published fashion and lifestyle photographer after he spent twenty years in Paris he felt that his place was no longer there so he decided to keep the essential and look for the best places on our planet. He started a trip all around the world with his camera. It’s a huge privilege to be able to meet different cultures so he tries to capture all these awesome moments as much as possible through photography.

The Ford Modeling Agency, or as it is known today Ford Models, is an American international modeling agency based in New York City. It was established in 1946 by Eileen Ford and her husband Gerard W. Ford.

It was a pleasure to work with Mathieu Jacobs and @fordmodels on this project and hope to work with them again on another production as a makeup artist.

Los Angeles Beauty Makeup Artist | California Desert Shoot

In a collaborative effort, me as a Los Angeles beauty makeup artist and wardrobe stylist, Tiger House Films production company worked with super-talented fashion photographer Matt Pluz and model Ashley Shoemaker for a high fashion photo shoot in the California desert.

Matt Pluz is an internationally published fashion photographer based in Miami Beach, his work has been showcased in hundreds of publications such as ELLE Spain, Sports Illustrated, Forbes, Maxim, L’Officiel Lithuania, and many more.

Ashley Shoemaker is an international model who is represented by several agencies including Elite, Muse, Freedom LA and Select Paris. Her great energy and seasoned ability to move for the camera really created a professional outcome for this photo shoot. Our digital agency in Los Angeles hopes to work with her again in the future!

Our location for this shoot was the classic California desert where so many iconic movies and shows have been shot over decades of Hollywood history.

I worked not only as a makeup artist on this shoot but I was the Los Angeles wardrobe stylist as well on this project, I borrowed the looks from L.E.R.

L.E.R. Public Relations is a full-service agency that offers public relations, branding and event production services for luxury brands within the fashion, travel, beauty / wellness, and lifestyle industries.

It was a pleasure to work with Matt Pluz and Tiger House Films on this project and hope to work with them again on another production as a beauty makeup artist in Los Angeles.

Influencer Makeup Artist in Los Angeles | Madame Gandhi Music Video Shoot

As an influencer makeup artist in Los Angeles, I had the pleasure of working with Madame Gandhi on her “See Me Thru” music video shoot in Los Angeles, California at Optimist Studios. I was the key hair and makeup artist on this project.

Kiran Gandhi, also known by her stage name Madame Gandhi, is an American electronic music producer, drummer, artist and activist. Gandhi’s music career includes being a touring drummer for artists M.I.A., Thievery Corporation, and Kehlani. Her music and activism focuses on female empowerment and fourth-wave feminism. Madame Gandhi is an electronic music artist and activist based in Los Angeles. Having gained recognition as the former drummer for M.I.A. and as the iconic free-bleeding runner at the 2015 London Marathon, Madame Gandhi now writes music that elevates and celebrates the female voice.

Los Angeles Men’s Groomer | DATCH Print and Video Campaign

As a Los Angeles men’s groomer I had the pleasure of working with DATCH on their 2020SS print and video campaign shoot in Los Angeles, California. @hueman.it was contacted by DATCH to hire as a creative agency in Los Angeles to produce its 2020SS campaign.

DATCH creates sportswear collection for contemporary men. Streetwear is a style of casual clothing that became global in the 1990s. It grew from California surf skate culture and New York hip hop fashion to encompass elements of sportswear, punk and Japanese street fashion.

About the creative agency, @hueman.it helped the company to re-position DATCH brand on the streetwear market with the #urbanstories SS20 campaign. That is one of the reasons why the agency decided to shoot in Los Angeles, California. They curate brand strategy, creative direction, and content production.

We worked on this shoot for 2 days in Los Angeles, CA. On the first day of this shoot, we captured campaign images and on the second day, we focused on both the photo + video aspect of the commercial shoot. Our team was small yet very professional, the director and fashion photographer flew from Italy, Milan.

Our models are represented by @wilhelminamodels. Wilhelmina Models is one of the largest and most successful modeling agencies in the world, founded by Dutch supermodel Wilhelmina Cooper. Wilhelmina Models represents men, women, children, professional athletes, and celebrities. The agency has offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Miami, and affiliate offices in North America and throughout the world.

As a Los Angeles men’s groomer, I hope to work with this international team in the near future as it was an awesome experience!

ThenWhat was contacted by JIMMY CHOO to hire as a creative agency in Los Angeles to produce their JK YEONG print campaign in Los Angeles, California.

Jimmy Choo is a 21st-century luxury accessories brand, with shoes at its heart, offering an empowered sense of glamour and a playfully daring spirit. The sexy cut, fashionable design, and exceptional Italian craftsmanship struck a chord with a sophisticated clientele, and the first collection enjoyed immediate success. With a goal of creating a global luxury business, Jimmy Choo attracted outside investment and the company embarked on a significant expansion across product categories, channels and geographies.

Korean stylist, creative and influencer YK Jeong collaborated with JIMMY CHOO on an exciting capsule collection, which shows signature Jimmy Choo styles remixed for a bold, brave and fresh perspective.

Los Angeles makeup artist | True Botanicals Social Media Videos

As a Los Angeles makeup artist, Tiger House Films hired me for their True Botanicals social media videos. We shot vertically on an Arri Alexa mini with an L bracket to flip the camera sideways.

Natural skincare brand True Botanicals reached out to Tiger House Films commercial production company in Los Angeles through New York Agent Quickframe Inc., to film and edit a series of social media videos for their line of skincare products. As a makeup artist, it was a great experience working with True Botanicals because their products are filled with natural and organic ingredients and their skin and body products promise results without toxins.

About True Botanicals: The skincare company based out of San Francisco, has a unique past. After being diagnosed with thyroid cancer, Hillary Peterson (the founder of True Botanicals), channeled her fear and frustration with the beauty industry into research—and a passion for creating pure, potent, and proven products that are good for people and the planet. Her bold vision motivates the entire True Botanicals team: a small but mighty band of (mostly) women based in Northern California.

Tiger House Films filmed the social media videos in Downtown LA in a photo loft with beautiful decor and sunlight. Our model for this project was Olga Safari, who has great energy and was perfect for this client due to her flawless skin. This was my third time working with Olga.

It was a pleasure to work with Tiger House Films and True Botanicals on this project and hope to work with them again on another production as a Los Angeles makeup artist.
